Nope, that's still just a fraction of the content. Even if we're strictly talking about tech, the sloppy corporate ones (Linus, Nexus Gamers, Jay2Cents etc.) are still a very small portion of the content. The problem is that YouTube only promotes that sort of stuff and ignores the quality stuff, but it does exist.

It's funny how you use it as an example when it's main competitive feature among imageboards is it's traffic producing more content and faster response times.
There's plenty of imageboards with better front-ends, with more features (can't believe this place still doesn't support audio video by default) and less annoyances like post timeouts and captchas or abysmal moderation that hates their own community, yet they keep dying because they can't get enough influx outside of big migration waves when they're slow and have no notoriety.

i think traffic is the reward for creating a consistent community, that's 4chan's actual advantage imo. 4chan never had as much content as other sites because it keeps deleting threads and limits the number of boards, yet a lot of people like using it. it's because they like it that they create more threads and posts.
