I switched from my SFF mini-ITX case to a fractal north. Amazing what being able to fit a 240 AIO and side intake for the GPU will do. Temps down 10-20c across the board under gaming loads.

That and I now know the actual best deskpad material is thick wool felt.

When you take the photo with your camera/phone, it stores the rotation in its metadata. Every image viewer made in the last 20 years will show it in the proper rotation. 4chan removes this metadata and consequently the picture is fucking flipped. You have to go out of your way to anticipate this is going to happen.

Never had problems when sitting all night, but I do have added extra padding under it.
Also like that the back rest goes almost all the way back by just leaning slightly harder against it. Got two of those chairs, both around 27 years old and still hold up great.

I moved out of my goon cave office and got some sunlight for most of the summer. Pretty comfy.

There should be monitor arms/holders that have a vertical central rod that you can choose the height on, that might work.
But a wooden stand always works too, and you can use the space as shelving which can be convenient too.

I got a still bar stool for sit/stand desk, it's comfortable but squeaks anytime I readjust my position. Already tried retightening then reassembling but it just starts squeaking again. I'm autistic so I thought tightening/retightening meant to screw as tight as possible, did I fuck up the threading or screws and void my warranty/refund policy at Ikea? If it's just the screws I could probably get new ones with the blue adheisive stuff but if it's the threading am fucked.

Like a 3/10, it has potential but serious issues.
If you clean your table so it's not as busy and take away the uneaten food bowl, it'd be a 5.
Move the mic arm clamp and mosue pad further right so you have more space for you arm and the pc a little further back or under the desk.
Add a plant, a smaller light source rather than the ceiling light and you're already pretty comfy.
Glue the power strip to the bottom of the table so the cables don't get in the way of your chair, and you've got a nice setup.

Looks like a SÄLJAN but could be literally any other butcher block countertop tbf. The legs are definitely not Ikea looking. Either way those things are pretty strong. I got a cheapo LAGKAPTEN (long ass one) and it only has legs at either end + 1 back leg in the middle and holds up without issue.

You can make pretty long desks without those horizontal supports as long as you're not loading them really heavy. If it's a computer desk and you don't stand on it you're unlikely to have any problems.
I have a 2.5m walnut butcher block desk with just legs on each corner and no other supports, and it's fine. You can do a beam deflection calculation for walnut (or whatever you're using) and make a worst case assumption with all the weight in the middle (I think I went for 150kg) and the deflection was not a problem, and then it's actually even a little stronger as butcher block because the glue is stiffer than the wood and the joinery provides some stiffening too.

I think what he has there is actually butcher block, but it's not clear in the picture. The corners on the longer piece are worn down a bit, but it doesn't look like a veneer or anything like that has been scraped through. Also, it suggests the board is heavy because that's how you end up scraping it while moving it.
That is one thing about super long desks: make sure you can get the top in and out of the room, and when you assemble it use threaded metal inserts so you don't have to remove it with the legs still attached if you move house.
