Got a case, a 4070 super and a bunch of sata and an nvme to go along with this. Not sure about the motherboard and PSU. PCPP says 519 wattage, could I get away with using my current 550 watt seasonic focus plus gold or is the headroom too little?

Probably overkill for what is (assumedly) a gaming build. It's fine if you need the specific feature set but could save some money if not.
Not to countersignal the other anon but the lane sharing isn't a big deal for gaming. PCIe5x8 has twice the bandwidth of PCIe3x16 (which is still enough for a 5090). Different story if you're going to do GPU compute though.

Currently on the PC over the integrated CPU graphic. I already ran the Firmware updater that was released for the 5060 series explicitly and it didn't helped. I found a few fixes that claimed that reducing to a lower PCIe Gen would atleast provide the screen and nothing helped. The different monitor ports didn't worked either so there no single defect for one of them as well.

Problem no1. Have you seen them IRL? Have you seen the fringing?
I can conclude that it's too bad, your eyes will struggle to focus at sharp lines due to the 3D going on due to the fringing pixels, the glossy coating will make it even worse, it will sear your eyes out, only if you are gonna use the screen at quite long distances and maybe even with scaling
close distance, good eyesight? forget about it, unless you are prone to these things

the only qd you can try right now would be the 27" variants to reduce it. matte reduces it more, but it's still there

at this point I don't think it's worth unless 27" 4k or 27" 5k, which might fix it, aka 220ppi

if not I am yet to try the WOLED and see if it's less harsh, has extra subpixel but atleast it's regular RBG Stripe not the diamond dots shit

Problem no2. Not sure if Gigabyte has any oled care msi like forced panel refreshes due to the 16h timer. if they do, they will give you aids, due to buggy firmware and many more things. Asus would not have this I think so far.

With an adapter yes. My 4770K GPU I bought a $10 cable to use a regular ATX PSU. Seems like the corpo PC to home PC build market has come a long way in a few years since there's a lot of parts to adapt it.

I've been thinking about buying the Lancool 207 but it got me wondering about the fan placement, it already comes with 4 (2 front 2 bottom), I'll obviously put one in the back but it'll still leave me with 3 fans from my current build, should I put all 3 at the top or replace the two fans at the bottom? 7 intake fans sounds like an overkill. for reference my current fans are the Corsair's AF120 Slim.

Is it normal to have a 30 degree delta? It's only 85 Celsius at the hotspot but that's a big difference. Undervolting at -50mV gives me around a 5% perf boost.

got a 2016 rig i was gifted, a shite ibuypower pre-built that had a GTX 1070, i7-6700, 110GB SSD boot drive and 1TB HDD, and old ram i can't even remember the details of. slapped some extra matching ram in at one point, got gifted an RTX 2080 Super, and have an RTX 2080 Ti on back end because my older brother just impulse bought a lot of shit several years ago.
looking to finally just make a big upgrade for a 1440p machine since my old fans are dying and my CPU is just too old now, got a Corsair RM 850X power supply from a few years ago (2021 line), and a Samsung Odyssey G7 monitor. as someone blind to PC building besides a few videos and some general ideas, would that RTX 2080 Ti even manage to push non-RT 1440p worth a damn, or is it better to start considering a new GPU tier altogether? and just going through loose stuff I've heard before, is any of this a worthwhile setup, overkill, retarded, etc.

i'm thinking it's actually my fault. the cable connected to my monitor sitting above my main is the one that keeps dying. when i squeeze the part right below the connector or twist it, the monitor loses signal and sometimes gets stuck at 60hz (dsc off). tried this on the gpu side and that did not happen.

i'm guessing moving it around too much on the monitor arm is causing the cable to get damaged over time? i dunno. what are some good dp 2.1 brands? silkland is actually the most expensive one on amazon

Some areas of the processor are effectively "dead" or inactive, and companies aren't transparent as to whether those areas are being added up in the transistor count.
Radeon GPUs also have three levels of on-die cache; their L3 infinity cache is a means to work around using slower GDDR6 chips.
Intel omits the inactive transistors from their transistor count info.
