Researching into the insanity of the modern job market and how deep it goes, all I can ask is a simple "Why"? Why is the stock prices of a company worth more than the products/services they provide? Why should an individual's purchasing power be lowered when they are the ones to purchase the products? Why can companies get away with literally offering no product or service and get away with evaluation? Makes no sense to me because it is very short sighted thinking.

I have a ton of Python experience from working with electrical and mechanical engineers who only know what my code does if I write in Python and I imagine it can't be that hard to learn flask or whatever the meme framework is now. Can confirm, anything in the real engineering fields aren't hiring either unless if you an old fart. The next few years are going to be interesting with seniors in STEM retiring without passing on their knowledge to the next generation.
