It is a nice feature when you can't locate where the curser is.
And in more recent versions of KDE, the curser is an SVG and doesn't get blurry as it gets bigger.

Same here. Still has a bit of blurriness for some reason.
Running Fedora KDE 42, Wayland, AMD integrated graphics.
why the fuck does every toolkit render different cursor on linux? i dont even notice it but it's just fucking baffling to me

thanks for telling me to change my cursor settings, for some reason the drop shadow on the cursor was disabled on my computer. i also changed the color and size of the cursor but then i felt bad knowing that the more customization i do in windows the more unique my telemetry info will be so i switched it back to the lame white color and regular size

Vertical mice are nice, but if you want one that doesn't double-click, you'll need a vertical mouse with optical switches, which doesn't exist.

Its a wayland (gayland) issue. In gayland every application is responsible for setting the cursor image. On x11 it works like windows and every sane system where cursor image is not changed unless you explicitly change it to another image (such as in games)

Install powertoys
Double tap ctrl
I also accepted that I'm getting older and my eyes are shit and just set the cursor size to 2. Harder to lose it when its bigger.
