I have a lot of interest in technology and I've been wondering how Russia, China and North-Korea have been using AI because it's often a popular topic especially on news and media outlets that Russia, China and North-Korea are actively doing propaganda campaigns to provoke war using AI but it's never being explained how.

Came across one of these videos the other day. Script written through an LLM, voiceover most likely by 11.ai and a scrolling text of the script.
The only genuine amount of effort I guess was the dude going through his reaction image folder to make the thumbnails.
What's shocking is that no one really calls it out in the comments at all, so in the context of tricking users to fall for new article shilling for a country? I totally believe it.

See a comment on twitter poking fun at China/Russia, in the reply sections are a hundred people with hundreds of likes each saying kremlin/chinese/whatever talking points. You feel inclined to believe it just because of the reaction, and a few of them seem to be from like minded people.

Then it turns out all of them were AI bots, with botted likes and botted followers and not a single fucking one of them was real. Kinda like astroturfing in a way, except the group that they begin with is bots instead of paid shills.
Not just a Russian/Chinese thing, but those two countries for whatever reason have the biggest, fattest egos and are well known to do this kind of thing.
