75dB/mW means it’s 20dB less sensitive than something like a 94dB/mW set.
every 10dB= 10× power, so to get the same loudness you need over 50× more juice.

Even $200+ DAPs will last a long time. Now is a bad time to buy a DAP since manufacturers are finally releasing models with better CPUs than the shitty ancient SD665/660 chipset. Currently only the Fiio M21/JM21 have a newer chip, but in 6 months I'd imagine there will be more options.

I think I found the ideal method, it's repeatable, quick, and very easy to implement and use.
There are flaws, especially at higher leakages, but it should cover most bases.
I'll have to see the behavior on different IEMs and drivers to check if the leakage conditions are representative enough to point out differences in leak tolerance, but this seems promising.

these worth it? tried the Tanchjim Echo's and moondrop Robins and wasnt impressed nor were they comfortable. Tanchjim Echo was comfortable but had battery issues so I returned them. need to know if EPZ is it, main use case would be for sleeping with music or a video playing. I just want to be able to lay my head on my pillow and not have them dig into my ears

They are fine, the biggest issues you'll face is comfort. Distance from nozzle to faceplate is long, the pieces themselves are heavy, the nozzle is quite large, and the IEM will be reliant on the ear tip and cable.
