i know it's fun to get autistic about these things, but in my experience any 1440p content looks better on 2160p than 1080p content with integer scaling. moar pixels is almost always gonna be better no matter what filtering/interpolation you use. i don't think the stuff in your image matters anywhere near as much as you want it to matter.

Higher end units don't have this issue, and if they do, it's tunable in various ways.
