I demoed them multiple times and didn't like them at all. Shouty mids, anemic bass and harsh treble without any special detail retrieval.
There was a stabbing peak in the treble, not sure if it will be possible to completely get rid of with EQ without fucking up the resolution completely.
Tanchjim just like KZ follows the inverse value law - the cheaper the pos, the better it sounds. Bnnuy is good.

So technically there may be something that will sound even better than vivace for you but it's impossible to predict what will.

Angled stands are stupid. Yes, even if the manufacturer is supplying them, it's never optimal. Speakers are meant to be at your ear level, if you want to upgrade stands get taller stands or wall mounts. Horizontal placement is very stupid, look at the horizontal vs vertical directivity, you're swapping them. Only do that with coaxial speakers.

Not an option in my setup sadly. Tge only choices are flat on the desk or angled on a low stand. Depending on my swating position, it's not that gar off from my ear level though.
The idea to place them horizontally also stems from that. It'd be easier to set them up this way.
Im just trying to do the best with what I've got, and considering trading some optimality in sound for optimality in space arrangement. The questions are more, how big of a gain an angled stand would be, and how big of a loss horizontal placement would be, to decide whether the tradeoffs are worthy.
