You've misunderstood what's actually happening. THEY ARE NOT ENDING DRIVER OR SOFTWARE SUPPORT, and there's a good chance that FSR 4 support will still come to RDNA2.

The drivers for RDNA1 and 2 are already very mature, and they were already putting a higher priority on optimizing and tweaking RDNA3 3.5, and RDNA 4 drivers before this announcement. Nothing much has changed.

Drivers are still going to be updated, they're just not going to work on updating drivers each time a new big game is released. They will still update drivers and still continue to optimize drivers for specific games, the drivers just won't be updated quite as often. You are crying over nothing.

They'll drop RDNA 3 and 4 fast because of UDNA too.

AMD drivers on Linux (specifically radv) are still getting updates. Some old AMD (HDxxxx) gpus get amdgpu and radv while there were no Vulkan support in official drivers and Vega can emulate RT making games like Indiana Jones playable (with a relatively good performance) which isn't possible on Windows.

With Strix Halo they seem to have gotten tile interconnects done with lower latency, so there's a chance they can return to it with their next gpu.

Almost always when a game doesn't work on AMD cards it's because the devs just didn't test it on AMD cards. Nothing to do with drivers.
