I wasn't talking about fake science. I'm talking about how humanitarian midwits intentionally seek out discussions on topics without scientific consensus (that's their specialty after all) and proceed to act like they're Copernicus, without adding their own conjectures to the topic.
Sure, there are some people who claim a "wizard did it lol" but most of the time they're trolling or it's just a commentary on the insofar unknowable nature of the matter at hand. There's also a minority of people who actually believe a wizard did it, but they're such a small fraction of the population that they get brought up much more often than they take part in the conversation. It's just a really dumb and useless strawman, used by people with nothing to say, who want to feel smart.
