>Can brown people be Christian?
The first Christians were historically ethnic jews (emphasis on the word "ethnic", NOT religious (altho, when looking at historical documents from the earliest forms of Christianity, it can be pretty hard to see where Judaism ends and Christianity begins. Altho my point still stands). This was before the Bar Kochba revolt, so most (ethnic) Jews at the time were genetically middle eastern. And in turn, so were most of the first Christians.
The Copts are also a Middle Eastern people, and they're one of the oldest Christian communities in the world.
The Copts evangelized in what's now modern-day Ethiopia and Eritrea, giving us the Tewahedo churches. The Horn of Africa was Christian before even the Romans.
Saint Thomas himself went to southern India to evangelize the people there. To this day, the "St. Thomas Christians" still stand strong, mainly in cities like Cochin.
In modern day, the vast, VAST majority of Christians live in Latin America and sub-Saharan Africa. In fact, the Christians here tend to be even MORE religious than Western Christians.
To deny the Christianity of non-whites is to ignore the foundations of Christian history at its core.
