If I was a reform Jew I'd probably just become a humanistic Jew. Idk what if conservative (probably mental breakdown > atheist). If I was Orthodox or otherwise any 'deeper' type of Jew I'd probably have a crisis and kill myself; or deny reality. Religious conversion wouldn't enter into the picture too much.

There is no version of Christianity that does not rely on the Old Testament. Much less any version that accepts the NT. The apostles quote it from the OT, revelation take stylistic cues from there, Jesus Christ HIMSELF quotes it. If the OT and everything in it is fake then so is the NT.

The reason the Babylonians and others kept kidnapping Jewish priests and bringing them to whatever city was supreme on the Tigris and Euphrates was because of the striking similarities between Jewish religion and their own sets of beliefs, which would eventually align under Zoroaster. It's the earliest beginnings of the entire heretical movement that came to call itself "Judaism," which was originally a gnostic sect. It had nothing to do with the Christian Bible.

All that they have done is plagiarize things from the Bible and claim (based on no evidence) to go all the way back, just like many others such as the Mormons and Mohammedans.
