I dunno, a lot of artists used to farm /v/ and still do, so it isn't that unreasonable that people get pissed off for being constantly exploited as a springboard for e-careers.
In the end it gives people the impression of artists not really caring about doing art but more or less just hustling only with the intention of becoming internet famous to then sell out to the normies.
Just imagine every time someone posted it was accompanied by them advertising their social media and their comm sheets and they always said the "right thing" just to butter you up so you subscribe, like in all the generals where anons post their works.
And in every case, when they make it big, they just forget where they came from and even denounce 4chan because the normies only see this site as /pol/. Or just come here to """get back at the heaeterzzz crabs"""
It's disingenuous and even malicious to an extent.
Don't need to wonder why /v/ has turned to AI slop.
Also no, because i understand where people might come from doesn't mean i hate toast.
But artists who abused any trust they got only made things worse for everyone else.
