I dunno who made the tierlist maker. It's nice, but it had some issue, and it crashed one too many times while I was 30 minutes into a tier list for me to not fix them.

I modified the image generation to be a lot faster, fixed the crashing, and added a local storage state save. So if you leave the page and come back it's as you left it.

I also added a few other things, you can shift click avatars then move them all to the same tier.

If the anon who made the tier list is out there, feel free to put these changes in. Otherwise I'm just gunna keep updating my local file and use this.

I added a function which uses an image proxy to get around CORs if running locally, so.

Think of it like sculpting or painting, start with big shapes and chip them down to detail. I tried making a test video to show you. Just try to group shadow groups with clothing at first. Outlining certain things and adding more stuff relies on anatomy knowledge and line weight. The whole point of these is to get a better understanding on shape language while also thinking about how lighting interacts with form. Its a very intense thinking exercise imo.

To be fair drawing buildings and nature was something artists used to do a lot but at his time photography and cameras had just begun to be more affordable and accessible so being a one trick pony wasn't viable anymore, thats also why surrealism became the meta since cameras couldn't do it. Its like with AI now and it becoming more advanced to the point artists must use it and people that don't use it or adapt in a way that makes them viable on the market will fail.

Well after failing to get into art school Hitler stayed in Vienna. And all of them talk about not really caring how the artists uses their tools, for example, knowing how to use Photoshop or brushes or something like that. But instead what they want to convey through their lines and art. The more I lurk on twitter or even on other boards on 4chan I do come across an interesting AI slop pic, and I wonder: In the bigger picture when I listen to those established professional artists, what if at the end of the day what I have to say isn't that good, and that someone who knows how to make an AI slop pic appealing or have a strong sense to convey their vision is going to end up getting the job instead? I love to draw and hold that close to my heart, knowing that I get a lot of joy to feel and experience the process makes me happy. But what happens in the actual world isn't always a happy land. Sometimes it's really dirty, because that is how it gets stuff done.
And the fact that the industry is hyper saturated and filled with careers that you need to be recommended. I'm scared. I don't want to bring the mood down, but thanks for listening to my ramblings.

As someone who went through that transition, it happens so gradually you will genuinely not feel a difference. But once you have the proper insulin/blood consistency you will fully understand that you were miles out in the ocean instead of on dry land.
