I will draw better
Saw this dude doing daily studies and posting them, looked like a solid idea so I’m shamelessly stealing it. Gonna force myself to draw every day because my β€œprogress” has been flatlining harder than my will to live.
Plan is: 20 one-minute gesture studies, slap a face on each one so I don’t get dead fish faces, then pick one sketch and actually finish it.

If you’ve got any critique or ideas for extra stuff I could add, just say it.

It is what it is, but it doesn’t take 20 minutes. These are just warm-up poses, but if you have any other exercises that could help me improve, please let me know

Focusing on improving my ability to draw more expressive faces and dynamic poses for now.

You should write about the experience of the drawing section.
>What did you learn?
We can take that as an assumption
What will you try to do different to improve?

Learning is just changing your behavior and it works wonders to put it into words

I'm going to start writing down what I actually think is wrong or good about my drawings. Until now, I've mostly used building blocks to construct my figures, but I’ve decided to shift toward gesture drawing and focus more on expressions. I want my art to feel more dynamic and less stiff.

The pose in the top-left lacks dynamism β€” maybe pushing the back further could help add more energy. The bottom-left pose has an awkward-looking right arm; I’m not sure how to fix it without rotating the torso. The other poses look okay overall, but still feel off.

I'm not sure why, but the standing pose with open legs looks off β€” it just feels awkward. The sniper pose isn't working either, but I’m not sure yet how to improve it. Maybe I’ll figure it out if the site gives me a similar pose again.

I think every pose here turned out well, except for the one with the open legs standing straight that one still feels off
Anonymous No.7719078 >>7719079

The bottom-left pose didn’t turn out well I should’ve placed the lower part of the leg more under the butt to make it look more stable.
