No, video games have outgrown my wallet.

I am 33 years old and I can play videos game for max 3-4 hours before overwhelming feelings of existential dread wash over me and I have to quit.
I am still trying to figure out what this means.

I wouldn't say I've outgrown them, but I'm kinda tired of games these days. I feel like I've already played everything that appealed to me. 99% of new games don't interest me anymore.
Maybe games are just shit now. Maybe I've become jaded. Maybe I really did "outgrow" them. The fact that a lot of games are badly optimized and increasingly expensive doesn't help either.

I grew into them.
Age 15-25 I didn't really play much.
But 25-35 I started really putting in the hours as I made more friends online and could afford a proper pc.
These days I play 6-7 hours at least everyday, often more.

It's now that I've outgrowned videogames, it's that I don't have anything to play it on anymore

when you finally settle down you will gravitate towards that one game you played like a maniac and it will be so much better because free time becomes more precious

I cant play longer than 2 hours, i hate losing sense of time
Also all new multiplayer is slop so i only play older games
Especially sandbox games because these are only interesting to me

I only play roguelikes.

I only play arcadey games like streets of rage or l4d2. They arent time sinks and you can go about your day
