Yesterday at an "Advanced" course I took I witnessed a man's rifle explode becauae he fed it 300blk. Also, a guy showed up with no sights on the rifle. The entire line of 12 shooters was more or less uniquely fucked for each and every shooter in one way or another.

Instructors were solid. Clientel/students not so much. Everything got dumbed down to a beginners course doing reloads and shit because that's where the students were at.

I’ve practiced holds with a Blackbeard but getting out there and actually walking and trying to maintain those was something I need to practice. I think I was overcomplicating at points as well? Like we’d move from 5->10 yards and I was over adjusting and throwing them a bit low all of a sudden.

Supported sling position stuff was interesting, I’ve seen it before but I always thought why go through the effort when I could go to prone/find a surface/kneel etc, but him reinforcing that sometimes due to terrain or whatever may NEED to stay standing to be on target and are thus forced to make that position work was pretty eye opening

Daniel Defense, uses an outdated barrel profile and what they offer doesn't justify the price while performing similarly to Rosco or Ballistics advantage barrels for double the price.
Geissele barrels are fairly good, but their barrels are softer than the standard.
Like all things Geissele, they get by with doing the bare minimum (Cast triggers and Gas blocks) without passing the savings onto the consumer. I'd call into question the barrels longevity primarily.

What the fuck are you talking about about faggot? DD barrels are excellent for their durability, comparing them to Rosco or BA is disingenuous and gay. Also if you are building a first AR doing a 14.5 isn't a bad idea and DD offers a LW 14.5 barrel that is excellent. Geisseles are also excellent and they are CHF, which does yield softer barrels in general. That's just how the process works, yet people love CHF for longevity. Criterion barrels, in particular their Core series barrels which are supposed to be their best, are mid at best. Everyone one I have used has been punchier than it needs to be and their taper profile, while good at the time it was introduced, is just inferior these days. It is to heavy and while it can help shift the weight of your gun around, you are still stuck with a heavy barrel no matter what. You also talk like a fag and your shit is all fucked up.
