I think the ecos is close to the ideal optic set up for a general use rifle. Medium power scope and a piggy backed dot.
I know i can still find everything to make a clone but if you were to use it an inspiritation with more current things what would you pick?

My thoughts were atacr 4-20 with a piggybacked t2 in a giessele mount but there are a lot of optics that check the same boxes. Could use an acro or rmr or rcr ect. There are a lot of 3~4-12~16x scopes on the market now. More scope mounts than i care to think about.

4150 gets shot out fast and I shoot about 300 rounds or more per hour depending on what I'm doing. Brand doesn't matter either unless they're using different barrel metals.
For example my AUG ain't shot out and that shit is like 20k rounds deep. Only thing I done to is swap the Stock two times due to cracks and warping.
