Shoulder holster from ares tactical finally showed up. The holster itself is shitty, they did not do a good job molding it; the holster rubbed on the controls, getting stuck on the slide release during holsters and occasionally switching the safety on during drawing. I took a dremel to the holster so that it clears the controls, and although I'm disappointed with it, it works perfectly fine now. It is extremely comfortable to carry my 92fs now under an unbuttoned over shirt, and since I'm a Floridaman, I wear a Hawaiian shirt any time I'm not at work. For skinny anons that want to carry a full-size gun, this is a good option, but be sure to get a vertical holster, horizontal is hard to conceal.
Sorry for the shitty pic.

IIRC, Federal has pretty much the softest primers out there.

back from the first 100, and results are mixed so far
the good: it's a pretty easy shooter. the recoil isn't significantly different from a PCR so if you're used to that or a p01, you'll have no problem with the p09
the bad, however, is pretty rough right now: a lot of failure to feed issues. but they're happening in an interesting way. about half of the mags I put through the gun would fail to feed the second to last round and only that round. this was front loaded and the later mags were more likely to feed every round
I was also seeing that if I loaded only one round in the magazine, the slide release wouldn't disengage if I tried to chamber that single round by racking the open slide. I'm hoping that the magazine spring will wear in and these issues will improve, but it's pretty disappointing for a first outing

I have a burning love for long slide pistols but the only thing I can seem to find that isn't fuck off money is the G17L. Trying to search for some combination of "long slide pistols for sale" "pistols with 6 inch barrels" or "full size pistols with long barrels" results in a deluge of fuddy reviews, ancient articles and ARFcom posts, and a whole slew of guns for sale that ARE NOT a fucking long slide pistol. Can anyone just point me in the right direction? Feel free to call me a retard of the highest order this has been kicking my ass for days.
For reference fuck off money is over 1500, I'm not a comp shooter or so loaded I can drop a couple grand on a custom 2011.

Old pic but like many old guns replace some tired springs, or add a missing one in this case (bolt hold open leaf), and get new production improved magazines and they’ll work great. This one was pooping out rounds sporadically from a cracked war time magazine, and randomly locking back until I got some new parts. Mec-gar is great for Luger magazines.

The lcp wibbly wobbles each time you pull the long trigger or get recoil, and it has bad follow-up shots with anything but 380 target ammo at which point the PPK gives the same power, concealment and more shots and follow up

It’s not an upgrade once you consider ergonomics. I would take an LCP to north Virginia since I wouldn’t miss it much and it’s good enough. Also with a laser it looks cyberpunk and cute but that’s it’s pros

>In a Friday statement, a Department of the Air Force spokesperson said that the unidentified arrested person is accused of making a false official statement, obstruction of justice and involuntary manslaughter.

On the spot, he concocted an alibi to blame a negligent discharge homicide on a P320 malfunction. The air force believed it and pulled the pistols from service. Absolutely hilarious.

Glock 26. It's wide is the most CC relevant reason.
More petty reasons are I don't like the trigger, sights, or general feel of the Glock. If I change, I figure may as well go a little different. I like the idea of a DA because while I carry in a holster I like the idea of a much heavier initial trigger pull to help prevent totally some freak accident I've invented in my head of the trigger getting pulled.

They’re everywhere to the point there’s a test and armorer fix. Tolerance stacking by inexperienced minimum wage assembly line workers means that when sig sends you their 320 they’re not sending you their best

When sig sends you a gun assembled in their modern sweat shops they’re not sending their best, they’re badly put together with tolerance stacking and you’ll never know if yours has a sear that can slip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3iWVs2uD1XY&t=367

A new 226 is going to have Makarov tolerances but at least the design is safe on DA.

My new old PM was crazy the first time I used it. I thought I cleaned the firing pin well enough but instead it gave me multiple duds till the debris came out. Then several pulls later it fired and gave a slam fire and the debris came out. Afterwards it was perfect on everything I tried.

Maybe people forget to clean their gun, a brass shard or something ends up in the internals and then it slips? That explains why it’s usually cops getting ADs

Gen 5s have: Better grip texture, better finish, better barrel, better trigger, better mag release, ambi controls, easier to holster, actually consistent ejection, back straps, less annoying cruciform, better RSA, 1913-compatible rail, could go on and on.

I know you're doing your "epik I trol u" bit, but to educate actual people in the thread: the Gen 3 rail (below) has radiused edges, then Gen 5 has wider ones that mirror the Piccatinny dimensions.

The cruciform is less annoying in Gen 5s because you don't need to lodge it underneath the catch in the front to reinstall it after cleaning it, or installing a new trigger.

I would jog with a fanny pack anyways, jogging with anything but the lightest gun in your pocket is uncomfortable and will likely end with the gun falling out. Me, px4 anon

My use of them on a carry gun was short lived since my only gun that can fit one was a 92 compact that I don’t carry anymore. But otherwise I like them, I like them more than a Holosun EPS since the glass and tint seems to reduce the star effect with my ligmatism. Window size and deck height is good.

I have 3, two compacts which one of them is enclosed (center). And the pro. That I’ve never been able to stick on a gun since Romeo X Pro is not a real DPP footprint. Its recoil pegs are shield size so while the DPP pegs are in the right spot the holes aren’t small enough. It’s extremely stupid of Sig to make a footprint their GUNS don’t even use as Sig slides are almost always dual RMR and DPP so there is zero recoil pegs on those slides. They could have just used a real DPP footprint or something.

My dream optic would be a Romeo X but on an RMR footprint so there finally can be a low deckheight RMR optic, all you would have to do is make it wider and change the screw pattern, the battery is still mounted to the side.

The $17 wilson combat spring kit comes with:

The issue isn't that the grip is too big like an Arex grip, but that the grip angle and lack of triggerguard undercut usually feel like a 2x4 in peoples hands. Try going to a gun shop and actually picking up and feeling the different handguns and seeing what fits, or better yet call around and find a rental range that lets you do infinite swaps for a flat fee and shoot a couple mags through a bunch of good options like the Springfield Echelon, Walther PDP compact, FN 509c, or M&P 2.0 compact.

I can't tell whether these are casting defects or an intentional feature some drunk inbred flipfuck ground half awake 10 minutes before shift change with a milf(sic) frother.

My best guess at how to fix this is to take off the finish and either mill it smooth or build it back up first and mill it out. Both of these would take a lot of time or money to get back to square 1.
Should I just sell it, buy a Para P14, and either blue it myself or have it blued? Another option is to save up some more and buy one of them hi-cap Remington R1s which would just need a threaded barrel and new slide.

They’re having pre-orders first, at least that was the original plan. I still think they should go through with the pre-orders so they can feel out the market and not overdo it. I have no doubt they’ll deliver but I doubt they’ll be producing them to such an extent you’ll be finding them in any LGS unless they’re used examples. They’d be smart to partner with a bigger gun dealer to do the selling, that’s the best way for them to get their stuff out there. Also, just buy a used DP-51, they’re like $400-$450, I got mine for $400 OTD late last year from a small gun store. The only thing that sucks is the authentic magazines are shit to find at a good price, most of them are 10rd mags at $50 and the 13rd (full capacity) mags are $80. There is one company that makes reproductions but with these guys re-releasing the DP51 they’ll no doubt have cheaper spare mags for purchase once they roll out the DP51. They’re good pistols but nothing special, the “triple action” thing is cool if you plan on carrying it.

Also, pro-tip the DP51 WILL work with a S&W 5900 series magazine. They stick out maybe 1/4” out the bottom and they’re a little loose fitting but they feed flawlessly. The only iffy thing is if the slide hold open will work and if the slide is locked open DO NOT slam the mag into it, the mag catch cut is slightly larger than the actual DP51 mag and you can push the mag past where it’s suppose to go.

I personally could not give less of a fuck about your gay ass drama. I buy and use Lube's stuff regularly and I will continue to do so. If you want to gossip like women, why not start a knitting club where you live? You're clearly too emotional for firearms.

I will literally die for Trump and there is realistically nothing he could be alleged to have done to convince me otherwise.

I don’t like things he’s said or has done, but he has changed the course of this country from complete and utter destruction. There are two teams. Be on America’s team. The direction of politics does not seem to be going in Israel’s way, thanks to people like you who can more elegantly convey their message of not liking Israeli influence on American politics.

1. Backpedaled by the administration, within hours actually. Shit like this has been going on in the GOP for a while and I suspect it snuck its way in there without the greater powers knowing.
2. 3. 4. Good. As long as it’s wielded against my enemies like Muslim foreigners in my country.
5. Never happened. Where is this war?
You aren’t a serious person.
6. Politically it seems to be a worsening position to do so so hopefully it will change.
7. It was already covered up. Do you think they would just let documents incriminating the U.S. gov and Israel sitting in a room at the FBI? I think if there was any evidence, the U.S. government doesn’t have it anymore. I don’t like how the administration is handling it but I’m not going to throw out the baby with the bathwater here.

To me, the redo of the census with the elimination of illegals from it + post covid shifting could very well prevent the democrats from being able to win the house any time in the future and hurt their electoral vote counts. Take wins when you can get them and be on the winning team.

How about this, who do you want instead? Are you like Nick Fuentes who wanted Kamala to run because he legitimately wanted Kanye to run? An actual degenerate pedophile?

I won't "chill out". This general was targeted and killed because of that G17 faggot troll (see >>64098760 and >>64098760) and Lube facilitated the destruction for WEEKS. This general is fucking trash now and if you didn't show up here 5 minutes ago, you'd know this.

Nothing else comes close to how widely available and cheap Mec-gar SW59 mags are, no sense using anything else except original mags for autiscric pictures with flush baseplates. Like there's no reason to go scrounge rare MAB P15, Hudson H9 or AMT On Duty mags when Mec-gars are $16
