Depends what you want out of the gun
I dont think the magwell is necessary on a gen 5 but the OEM poly one is cheap and if you hate it its easy to get out of. If you had anything gen 3 the magpul magwells are easy to source and worth. I had a second gen 5 glockwell on my 19 but it printed too much AIWB so I gave it to a friend. The red anodized aluminum xxxUSPSAxxx_6969 magwell will indeed funnel mags about as well as a polymer one. Brass gamer magwells will help weigh the pistol down which is nice if thats what youre going for.

Another thing to consider is your magazines you actually use with the handgun. Flat baseplates in most of these magwells make them really difficult to strip if you have a fucked up feeding situation. I run +2s on all my 17 mags so I have all the purchase needed but if you want a flush fit setup id really avoid any magwell, especially on a gen 5.

I thought about putting a Kahles k18i or k16i on top of her, but I can't get comfortable with the restrictive eyebox. I specifically went with the dot+magnifier combo as a happy compromise. Also since the magnifier and bipod are on QD mounts I can just take them off if I don't feel like lugging around a boat anchor of a rifle.

Just had to fix a bunch of front end wobble on mine so I rebuilt entire front end trying to track it down. Nothing. Turns out it was a pulsing caliper that would trigger when hitting bumps over a given speed. Whiteline sway went in upfront and its much tighter tbqh
