The City of Seattle is full of, and run by, complete and utter fucking retards. There are already 3 separate laws that make machine guns (and conversion devices) illegal. So naturally the fucking retards in Shitattle want to piss away even more money making another law that already exists that they still won't prosecute anyone with because mUh RaCiSm.
Did you know we got rid of our Gang Crime Unit because it was determined to be racist? GEE I WONDER WHY THAT IS.............HMMMMM REAL BIG MYSTERY THAT ONE............

Fuck I'm mad. I hate them so much bro. They ruined my state.

There's no thought to it, they'll just make the same argument and change the goal posts in terms of further changes. Eventually they will reach the point of needing to hammer, Dremel, weld, etc the gun to fire FA and make the same "readily converted to an MG" argument. We know this because the ATF has already tried the same stuff previously.

>Gun is modified with switch to be full auto

>Only reason cops called because he was threatening someone on public transit

He will spend at most 6 years in Minnesota prison lol

The crazy thing is it's not our laws.

Just for the illegal machine gun ALONE state law allows for 20 years, felon in possession of handgun, drugs, assault, etc all that other shit would be more time.

Hennepin County Prosecutor Mary Moriarty has literally caused multiple preventable deaths because of her incompetence.

This.
Problem (broader) is, it's not exclusive to Glock and even the OP lawsuit has language to that effect. If the City of Seattle (and other blue population weight urban center usual suspects) can go after Glock, they also can go after any gunmaker.
Also pay attention: OP lawsuit doesn't merely or solely target Glock, it additionally targets retailers and distributors of their products. This is a full assault on entire firearms industry not solely pistol manufacturers.

Next step: Ammunition

yep, Constitution sounds good until you release its got no teeth.

it takes only simple slim majority to install a Fed Judge for LIFE, but a super majority, and some "trial" in FULL CONGRESS to remove an individual shitty judge.

Imagine trying to run a business with those HR rules for hiring and firing employees.

Really should be super-majority to install a judge, and 1/4 vote to remove, and any judge that has any ruling overturned by higher court gets a 90 day unpaid "sabbatical" to learn to follow The Law.
Anonymous No.64219065 [Report]

>install a judge
The problem with the Second Amendment-related rulings, on a by-region basis across the country, is the different Circuits.
Certain ones (such as the Ninth Circuit) have been crammed with 'activist' appointments and these are the Circuits that have judge *panels* which are constantly over-ruling and counter to what the U.S. Supreme court has now long ago made law in Heller and Bruen.
These corrupt Circuits are where the anti-gun globalist lobby are concentrating their efforts to undermine the U.S. Supreme Court.
It is *Lawfare* plain and simple. Nothing that those judges (<--most of whom are not only totally ignorant of the 2nd Amendment's meaning but moreover and probably more importantly are ignorant of the basic not-difficult-to-even-comprehend mechanical workings of firearms themselves) and Circuit court panels do is within bounds of the U.S. Constitution or logic itself, on the topic of firearms and 2A.
They are / it is tyranny with the deliberate goal of removing rights of American citizens. Backed by billions $$$$$ of globalist resources and assets that have a long-game strategy of demolishing the United States Constitution overall

Watch the OP attorney (W. Kirk) or Mark Smith for their consistent reports on the latest travesty or challenge brought to the Ninth Circuit, Fifth Circuit et cetera. These panels are clown show Inc. They don't even know how to operate a kitchen knife let alone a firearm

>Glock supported legislation and legalistic battling concerning the second amendment
That was probably sold to them by their lawyers as a way of preventing these lawsuits.

What they and their lawyers don't realize is that blue-state city politicians are rabidly anti-gun and always pick the nuclear option because they're not reasonable people. And no amount of kowtowing will change their behavior, it just cedes a battle they'd have fought with you anyway, and it buys zero good will.

They don't have the capacity good will, they fucking hate guns, hate gun owners, and hate gun companies. They will pull whatever lever hurts every day and twice on Sunday, up to and including door-kicking and gunning people down even if they're obeying the law.

They slaughtered an airport executive, Bryan Malinowski, who was complying with state and federal law based on a rule change which was NOT EVEN IN EFFECT. Never mind that Malinowski had a job which uniquely disarmed him at known locations at known times, never mind that the rule itself is unconstitutional, it hadn't even come into effect. There was a published date at which it would, and that date hadn't yet come.

Every gun owner and gun company needs to get it through their fucking heads that the anti-gun side can't be reasoned with, and just needs to be stymied, kneecapped, frustrated, obstructed, bullied...every word you can think of to make their job harder, that needs to be done, 100% of the time.

She's not incompetent. Mary Moriarty will look you dead in the face and give the non who murdered your child 5 years for manslaughter with 60% time served. And she'll do it with glee.
The rules have changed; never attribute to incompetence what can be adequately explained by malice. Incompetent people don't get through law school, pass their state bar exam, ingratiate themselves with billionaires, and ascend to judgeships with their backing.
It's not an accident. None of it is unintentional. The pain is the point.

>can't be reasoned with
It's more and broader than that.
Most of the top leadership of gun companies only sees things from a million $$$$$ corporate liability standpoint, as discussed in this regard they only listen to their phalanxes of attorneys. They're running a corporation.
**--> What they don't realize is that all these urban population centers+the states they're located inside of, are bankrolled by Globalists.
It is *Lawfare* (see above^^^)
This is Lawfare being conducted against the 2nd Amendment *and the gun companies are being used as pawns* on this giant chessboard.

We / they (the gun corporations) did learn something and win a temporary victory with the 9-0 Mexico case smackdown by U.S. Supreme Court.
But this OP of cities suing Glock, is just a smaller inside-Trojan horse version of the Mexico case. The Globalists are going to bankroll *EVERY CITY AND STATE* in the U.S. (in reality about ~20 or so of the most populous urban centers nationwide) to keep this Lawfare machine steamrolling ahead, with the goal of total destruction of the 2nd Amendment and the U.S. Constitution itself.

I can't speak for other states, but having grown up in California, a lot of it isn't the same people voting for the same things repeatedly. It's a combo of immigrants/minorities who only vote left because they're immigrants/minorities, and transplants from red states who get indoctrinated into leftist thinking while they're still students but have no practical experience with the realities of left-wing policy, so they're total uncompromising zealots and vote that way once they move to a blue state. Those people usually either soften once they see the reality or just cope with excuses for why it's not working and move somewhere else to try again.

Maybe that's unique to CA since there are SO many immigrants and transplants - only like 1/3 of the state is native-born white and not so coincidentally 1/3 of the votes in every election are red - but I'd imagine something similar tips the balance in places like OR and WA that get a ton of transplants as well.

Welcome to immunity.
The local and state government has near infinite money to mount suits from taxes, and even their most spurious lawsuits never result in more than a fine on their infinite resources. No DA ever goes to prison. No councilman ever goes to prison.
5 years of paying to field lawyers just to lose the case and get fined is devastating for a private citizen. That private citizen also depending on what the case was is looking at hard prison time if things don't go his way.

The deck is stacked. Ultimately I've lived in California a long time and you see they'll try to push whatever they can through the legislature, the CA DOJ, and the courts because they lose essentially nothing when they lose.

This is a direct infringement on Second Amendment. What needs to occur is for U.S. Supreme Court to smack it down, and moreover (executive branch) direct action against states, cities and local/county jurisdictions that behave this way.
DoJ under civil rights head Harmeet Dhillon is now actively doing this. They are going into state and local jurisdictions nationwide that violate 2A and Americans' rights, directly (for example L.A. County slow-walking of carry permits). DoJ Policy statement was made last month on this.

The problem (again) is the blue urban population weight centers, in any/whatever state now in the post-Obama era.
All United States urban centers (even if the state itself might be Republican overall, or have a Republican governor) are becoming centralized bases of globalist Authoritarian State slop. That's how modern urbanism works. Hive mind

This is not going away. You can 'think' or deceive yourself that it 'goes away' when you move onto your ranch innawoods, but the state itself will still be overtaken by globalists in the major urban center(s) of your own state, even if you reside/homestead hundreds of miles away.

These types of Lawfare bullshit lawsuits infringing directlly on 2A are going to be smacked down by a combined U.S. Supreme Court ruling in the future. It's just a matter of how many of them get challenged through the appellate/Circuit court system(s) all the way up to SCOTUS. That, in parallel with DoJ now, as they are actively doing, lowering the boom on municipalities that are actively infringing on 2A especially things like CC permits

(In states such as Washington, or the Dirty Dozen, for example, you'd need to 'vote out' most of the state Legislature along with hundreds of other local mayors and remove unelected bureacrats and judges that are part of same cabal)
And as discussed upthread: Look at how rapidly in the past two decades some formerly assumed-Republican or 'conservative' states, have switch to blue, mostly due to a particular population weight urban center (or where that state's capitol happens to be located) being flipped. Colorado is one banner example of that phenomenon

... because they are finding too many shell casings at crime scenes. Assumption is being made that this is due to automatic fire. Rather than not enough police to go in and shut the conflict down. Or a fear of the accusation of racism for such interference.

We had a shootout, caught on video a few years ago, of a gun battle at an infamous location. One can clearly see that no automatic fire was involved. One can also see (at night) the reflections of red and blue flashing lights n the surrounding buildings. This continued for a minute or two as the gunfight went on. And .... no cops. My guess is that they had an insuficient response to the call and rather thsn risking injury, just chose to confine the activity to the parking lot. Of course there were shell casings all over the place. The only possible law enforcement response is to wait untill they all run out of ammo.

BTW, nobody was hit. Nogs can't aim.

I don't know how on God's green earth you have this much confidence in the supreme court. As a resident of the gay state of MD, the moment they denied Snope, I knew it was all over. Snope was literally THE perfect case. It made it all the way up the ladder, got gvr'd back down, then received the same exact ruling from the 4th despite, and in light of, bruen. The cherry on top for that case was the clear judicial impropriety of that one cunt on the 3 judge panel who delayed writing a dissent for over a year in order to force a pocket veto resulting in an en banc hearing without the 3 judge panel ever completing the final ruling. Scotus had the opportunity to kill AWB features tests and outright refused to do so.
As far as I'm concerned, scotus is a bunch of spineless retards. They tell the 4th circuit that their ruling was wrong and to try again, only to be given the exact same ruling and then shuffle off like it's a virgin/chad meme.

They don't care if they're wrong, because while the law is being 'evaluated', they will still try and enforce it so long as no judge explicitly says that they can't in the mean time.
If this process was around in the 1800s, we'd still have fucking slavery, because every state and every city within a state that wanted it, would just be rolling through a list of justifications for keeping slaves and kicking it around until the Supreme Court has to say something, and even by today they'd still be at it.

There needs to be a convention of states on the Metropolis Question. Places like Illinois or Colorado are completely at the whim of their biggest metro area, far in excess of what the Constitutional framework was designed for. There needs to be some kind of special, separate jurisdiction for urban areas that exceed a certain ratio of the total state's population. They become their own entity, and have no legal jurisdiction over the rest of the state. Maybe the federal House numbers have to get rearranged or something.

The thing is most semi autos can be modified this way.
Glock was just the most common modern handgun on the market so a conversion device for it was standardized and patented.

John dillinger had his 1911 converted to full auto and used an extended mag almost a century ago.

There is current people with modified full auto fn 5.7s that really look cool full auto. Full auto 10/22s.

Most semi autos just take a mechanically competent person to review the firing mechanism to come up with $20 worth of reshaped metal to convert them.

So glock has done nothing wrong. You woukd have to go after semi autos in general, the most popular desireable firearm easiest for women to defend themselves with.

I'm not going to "provide references" to something the founders themselves discussed and implemented. Read the Federalist Papers, which outline Madison's countermajority strategy. Back on topic, there's lots of little ways rural areas have the individual voting power of their constituents magnified. Every state having 2 Senators is a great example, giving flyover states the same legislative presence nationally as one of the nation's major trade hubs. Putting gerrymandering aside, you can also take a look at how voting districts heavily favor rural areas with little people in them, as they must be divided geographically and not purely by population numbers. Any deeper than this is going to stray too far from /k/ but you're full of it if you think the rural and minority parties aren't boosted as fuck

Yes, we know. That's not the situation we're in today.
It goes far beyond merely the nationwide elections. And elected offices.
The whackjob Techno-Urban Center mindset is burrowed throughout the *un*elected parts of all municipal, state, and federal government(s) / legislative bodies nationwide but moreover all educational institutions from K-12 on up thorugh every university, throughout the judicial system (local---federal) and every single non-profit group (external to Christian conservative NGOs).
This is a *rot* throughout civil society that is aligned with Globalist no-borders, Abolish-The-Nation-State, anti-Constitutional (and yes anti-Federalist Papers) ideology that far exceeds in scope and magnitude anything that existed or was even conceived of in the year 1968.
