Savers is the best Digimon show, the only thing it does wrong is cheap animation, but that was true of every Digimon show prior to Colon regardless. Cool story with a buncha hype moments, small and well-defined main cast, despite the plot revolving heavily around the MC everyone still ends up on the same power level and all of the main cast get moments to shine, the MC himself is the most based Digimon character hands down, it has reasonable pacing and does just enough MotW episodes to get you to like the cast before the plot kicks off, etc. It's just all around incredible
Xros Wars is mandatory since we're on /m/. It is the mecha Digimon show and it's really good at building hype with its triumphant OST and the way its art and animation feel like they were done by the same people that worked on Gaiking LoDM with all the lens flare and evocative lighting. It's a breezy and fun episodic show. Feels like what Frontier should have been.
Ghost Game is also pretty good. Really great animation and it's willing to be way more fucked up than other Digimon shows. It's really intense and is more than willing to kill characters off, but somehow manages to remain upbeat and still feel like Digimon.
