Today starts a new month with the P.M.U. Material Enhancement Campaign for the console version of GBO2 and the 2nd Anniversary of the Steam version of GBO2.

New Map adjustments and a major unit adjustment for over 30 MS are now available.

The new for the week is a Redesigned Zeta that's fully armed for ground combat; Full Armor Ground Type Zeta Gundam from Zeta Gundam Define.

The 2nd Anniversary of Steam GBO2 MS for the week also celebrates Gundam Wings 30th Anniversary with After Colony's first Gundam equipped with the ZERO System; Wing Gundam Zero has arrived as the third AU exclusive MS. Next MS will be F90 [S Type] for the new 750 cost.

Tldr, it's a skill that gives you pseudo space movement that if used properly, lets you play 3D mind games while everyone else is stuck on 2D.

Actually in practice, it's similar to a MA mode where you need to know when to use it for it not to backfire on you because you overextended.

It's main use is simply being able to fly up while boosting, so you can do plays no other suit can make such as:
Crossing between building tops without having to jump and be vulnerable, climbing up to heights while under MA so you don't get knocked down by a single stun in the air, starting engagements while flying so you can instantly shoot when you stop boosting, catching people off guard from angles they don't expect and from long distances when they think they're safe because of building cover, confusing FAZZs and Xamels by flying over them so they can't tackle your aerial melee or shoot you, and many more.
The main thing to note is the lvl 1 flap booster drains thruster quite fast so you NEED to know when to back off or if you have enough to keep going since it's incredibly easy to run out and land into 2 or more people and die from your own hubris. So you'll need to get gud from experience and experiment with what you can get away with

Don't use it when running away unless you know you won't get stunned, since it means you have less thruster to work with and you'll look incredibly stupid if you get knocked down.

Why does the weapon bind changes to the wrong weapon in PC while you are boosting.

If you are not boosting. 2 key goes to the weapon on the 2 key.
If you are boosting, sometimes when I press 2, it goes to weapon 4 or whatever other thing.

FAZZ is tippy top of the meta thanks to shock absorbers, damcon, huge bulk, and high damage. F90 is fragile but highly maneuverable(for a support). You can try other suits but these are the best two.

In my opinion, they should increase the punishment for any S ranked player that quits the match.

I've seen this a lot, first 60 seconds team gets btfo. S ranked player leaves match in order to not lose his rank.

The best thing on any suit, especially a frontliner like RF Dom is almost always aux armor. Aux parts are pretty universally useful on their own and they crank ALL of your defenses way up extremely efficiently Your damage will suffer, but you'll be nigh-unkillable and you'll have the added bonuses of thruster cooldown/turning/reload/overheat/ect from your aux parts.

On something that heavily uses thruster like the Den'an Zon the one where thruster parts increase your attack power is good too.

I don't know about that. Reloaders and generators are pretty situational, turning parts can be make or break but are suit dependent(and even then you only need one), and cooling/forced cooling you only ever need 1 at most. Focus rings and ASL parts are trash and the status time reductions being mostly filler. So you get what? Maybe 9-12 armor at the cost of tanking your damage with minimal bonus from your actual parts? Not really worth it unless it's something with a barrier that you want extra uptime on or something with a thruster gimmick like GF tank. Especially at high costs where it's not that hard to cap out defenses otherwise.

I've been trying to get "Custom Part Expansion Thruster" lvl4 or 5 for AN ENTIRE MONTH on my Nu Gundam, and I've never been able to get any skill above lvl4 at all. And this is with that stupid bitch Leona at 101 requests.

Found that a turn rate of 70+ allows me to shoot first over a turn rate of less than 70 if we're not aiming directly at each other, which can mean I win in a battle, so I run them sometimes. I also think that some suits benefit more than others, generally either suits that have a ton of turn rating or suits that have very low turn rating. Turn rating of 80-90 allows you to snap shot 3 suits in quick succession if they aren't paying attention to you and are reasonably spread out with the right equipment, so with more stunning weapons it's better. Off hand I don't remember what I put it on, but I gave it to the hayuku shiki to guarantee that I can target the one guy I'm firing at faster than they can target me if we're not looking at each other back in the day o get it to like 81. Overshooting didn't matter because clay bazooka wasn't nerfed back then, and had really nice AoE and range. Everyone is better at shooting now, so this is less important.

the game is 12 players per lobby at most, if anything they need to change how the lobby formula looks because they fucked how it worked from GBO1

in GBO1, when you looked for a lobby, the game first starts to look for other players, forms about 5-6 of them and then forms the lobby, then the lobby itself starts looking for anyone else queuing, prioritizing itself over other players
even when GBO1 was legit dead during the night, you could find matches in minutes cuz of that

The biggest problems are the sheer size, no dodge until psycommu procs and the left handed guns which can throw you off when 99% of the suits fire from the right. The trick is that the transformation lets you ignore all of this by virtue of being smaller, more agile and firing from the center. It's functionally like a souped up hover mode so Byarlant experience is more useful than something like Zeta playtime (so personally I kinda struggle with it) but like you say, modern generals have a lot of tools to bring it down either way.
The buff is amazing though, more than enough to offset the changes to 650's enviroment.

It's pretty solid, but it has a skill ceiling. It isn't as overtly broken like Delta Anse or Yong, and a lot of its weapons can feel weird to use. The Beam Saber has the same motions as the Nemo III and it has a flash grenade, so it can be finicky to use compared to standard Federation MS. It's also very easy to catch alone, Flap Booster but no MA. It shits out a lot of damage surprisingly though despite a simple loadout, even the vulcans do good damage because of the high ranged stat. Though it seems like on console, a lot of people switched to Uma Gelgoog after it was buffed.

if you actually check the things that are server-sided, it's your matchmaking rating and clan servers. whenever you save the game, you also have a huge ass delay before you can do anything, for what should only take like a second at most. going into the clan terminal also takes fucking years if you do it straight away instead of letting the game cache it in the background for you

in short: the reason why GBO2 is still alive is purely because of how client-sided it is, they must be spending very little on servers due to the peer-to-peer networking, since GunEvo died and that game had dedis
