I hate phantom for several reasons. Her design is terrible. It's far too overdesigned, ape's genshit without any meaningful deviation or thoughtful intention, as well as how it was released assbackwards. The "standard" phantom is explained as being the character's alter ego effectively meaning they released her alt before her standard release. This means that all her appearances outside of her activities as her alter ego have to be tied to it even if it makes no sense in the context of a given scene because there is no substitute for it which forces the writers to either ignore this discrepancy or bend the narrative awkwardly to accommodate the alt being the only option to portray her visually. Releasing her alt first also means that we are likely never going to see what she normally looks like if her standard uniform is anything like her squadmate Arcana. Releasing an alt that looks less flamboyant will not sell and so the devs are not incentivized to make one even if it fits the character.

She is worth less than the vomit that comes out of my mouth every time I have the experience of having to look at her. Mori and the damage she's caused just by existing pales in comparison. In every conceivable way, the game would be bettered if phantom's existence was erased from reality. I hate phantom so much it's unreal.
