to be honest I think the only well written character in Witch of Mercury is Guel which isn't particularly original, but it works well enough for the little screentime. He is a character who starts out in one way. He goes through a series of events that lead him to change and even if it is not much he is a character defined by a series of choices that also represent his personality.

Miorinne and Suletta are the characters where the story spends the most, but I have the feeling that they are not managed that well, and it is only in the final phase of the show that both make truly important decisions. Moreover, the story does not even give me the feeling that they have truly matured. They are certainly more aware of their feelings and more confidents, but that's it.

PROSPERA has the same problem. Her surrender doesn't seem to be due to a realisation , it's just that Suletta and Miorine have ruined her plans and the space ghosts of her husband and her mentor Cardo literally have to step in to tell her to calm down.

Even the relationship between Suletta and Prospera is not developed that well.

I see you didn't understand the characters that well. Suletta and Miorine matured BEFORE Guel. Guel doesn't mature until AFTER his fight with Lauda. Elnora abandons her plans because Suletta is able to allow Eri to interact with the world freely which is what Elnora wanted.

I think is only after episode 19 that she slowly starts to take interest in other things than just the affection of her mother, and Miorine. Of course, she does have make-up with Miorine again(A part which they didn't show, fucking criminal btw). Only then you can say she finally shows she matured, seeing her willing to put a stop to her mother's schemes.

The contention was not about the size of the audience but what *kinds* of audience either attracted. The UC (especially OYW) relation of Gquuuuuux meant that it attracted a lot more media attention which reflects why there is a such a disparity in media articles despite similarity in the search trends.
And anecdotally speaking from observing major JP Twitter accounts, Gquuuuuux got a lot wider cross-section and also plus an older audience (again because UC is very mainstream).

No, you had zero impact as both of you were non-characters. The biggest problem with G-Witch is that it didn't do anything interesting. Granbelm did a similar character concept 100x better with cooler fights, better emotional moments, crazier twists, and cuter girls so G-Witch barely do serves to exist. Being infinitely better than GQuack isn't an accomplishment when it is one of the worst and most stupid pieces of media made in the last decade.
