For remasters I think anything PS2 and onward could be ported without needing to alter the sprites or animations, at most there would need a widescreen fix. The ones I would like are the ones who seem to be less likely to get a fantranslation at this point, like Impact (a remaster could fix the slow loading times) or obviously Alpha and Z (yeah I know about SDF Macross and GR for Alpha)
Remakes have the problem of needing a lot of work (probably equivalent to making a modern game animation wise) since there is no past game that can be recreated fully by mixing the HD assets they already have (especially on the enemy side), unless they decide to do them in a different lower budget style. The games that would benefit the most from a remake are most likely the first 4, at least to bring them "on par" with post Alpha games. But I mean an actual full blown remake: improving the story and add more crossover elements or better plot adaptation, more stages and route splits, Four and the Purus don't get kidnapped and brainwashed every game, better use of the villains, have series that appear in later games integrated earlier, improve the character artworks, have the 4 OGs partecipate in the DC war
Alternatively the GBA and DS games could eventually be remade by mixing some of the series that already have HD assets with ones that don't and need to be made specifically for them, like D or R

I'd go for an MX remaster. Since that one had anime that already have been released outside Japan (Getter Robo, Getter Robo G, 70s Raideen, Grendizer not being released yet to English-speaking areas, Gear Fighter Dendoh, Metal Armor Dragonar, Machine Robo: Revenge of Chronos, and the Hades Project Zeorymer OVA adaptation being the exceptions as of this year) and isn't part of a timeline, surely there wouldn't be a problem bringing a hypothetical MX remaster outside of Japan.

Was trying to think of a neat roster for a hypothetical GQucks debut in the future, where stuff like having beam weapons (outside of ships and super robots) is still a novelty. I liked the idea of the Layzner and L-Gaim enemies invading and having their grunt weaponry be considered super advanced at the start. The Qubeley for example has always had just 3 attacks. Beam Saber, Beam gun, Funnels.

Transforming specific action scenes into attacks is actually a more recent thing outside of some rare exceptions. Even Zeta's WaveRide Crash was missing from the earliest games, although it was one of the first of this type of attack to be added.

Mazinkaiser characters would only appear in their pilot suits or casual outfits (no school jacket Kouji) and the different art style would be used to sell the idea they're older. Mazinkaiser would be kind of unit-only, using the Grendizer villains as replacement for stuff like the Mazinger Z being trashed.

For Getter, 1st part ends with Musashi sacrificing himself and Ryoma getting warped away. 2nd part follows the Shin vs Neo set up with Go and Neo Getter, but then you have Ryoma arriving from space with the Black Getter. No invaders or Armageddon Gou and Kei, but get Hayato and Gai returning to piloting after Ryoma returns, and the Shin Getter Dragon, and later can choose which Getter each team pilots.

We already saw Suletta and Chuchu (or more like her Demi-Trainer) in the PVs, as well as Guel, Elan and Shaddiq as enemies. The rest of the Earth House guys will obviously be supporters or part of Chuchu's attack list, same for Shaddiq's harem since they all use the same model
