Not just electronic systems, but everything from economics to biology to culture to ecology and so on. Itโs weird, high concept stuff. As you can imagine, it was an influential field back when the first attempts to figure out how to integrate computers into human society were being made, so the term โcyberโ became heavily associated with computers.
Anyways, I think the use of the term โcyberโ in this case is appropriate. Yโknow, because alterations have been made to their bodies to make them more able to process information and to interface with technology, while also themselves being subjected to systems of control. Multifaceted meanings and whatnot.
