reading your post made me think of two things
1. the ReGZ is essentially a better Hyaku Shiki
2. the Hyaku Shiki isn't as bad people think it is, and probably is much better than the Zeta as a close quarter combat mobile suit, it's possibly even a better rounded mobile suit than the Zeta considering it can equip the clay bazooka unlike the Zeta. I think so because the clay bazooka at least has some utility against shit that uses I-fields, and as far as I remember psycho Gundams have that
