With the DLC and the addition of Getter Noir, I was already sold. Big 0, Jeeg, and Fuuto are a great addition that make SRW Y worthy in my opinion.

It's a shame the DLC policy is a bit boring, since it means waiting a month for Kamen Raider and Big 0 and two months for Jeeg and Getter Noir.

The V team would be weirded out how Char looks, sounds and acts exactly like another guy in red that they've fought before.

Yeah, they've already said in an old stream you get to choose who the "main" protagonist for the VXT OGs. In X's case the main also gets to be the main pilot of the Xelguard while the other is subpilot, and for T, the main gets the Tyranado Rex, while the other one gets the Tyranado.

Souji is set to the Vangnex and Chitose Gravang, doesn't matter who is the protagonist/secondary, but you can switch their units at will between missions.

They're actually handling the VXT OGs here in the same way they did early Velt/Lottie in V and early Masaki in X. Each one has two stages tied to them, one where they join but their robot has lower stats and missing a finisher, and then later on a 2nd stage where they unlock the stats and their strongest attack.

I don't know why Xelguard wouldn't count as a Super. It makes boxing clubs out of energy before beating the shit out of the enemy, summons monoliths that accelerate it like a railgun, and calls upon the power of eldritch elemental spirits to help it nuke things with ancient magic. Another weird thing about the J9 shows is their distributor is Enoki Films, who decided to pull all their licenses from Discotek (I believe they got bought by another company). Everything MIC proper is just their former CEO Shigeo Tsubota licensing stuff out, which AFAIK is separate from film and TV distribution rights. The J9 shows have some messed up international names that explain things like the Galactic Gale being called "Cosmo Rangers" in the Discotek subs.

You'd have to show what was said in this case but in general, Wasei-eigo is not exactly English. In fact there's a ton of words that are the opposite of their original meaning. Like Japanese people use "tension" to mean something fun and exciting whereas in English a tense situation is stressful. There is a interaction when you recruit Ryoma where he interacts with the mechanics crew and the protagonist that it's pretty hard to see under normal circumstances. You can only see it in game when you don't have Koji and/or Tetsuya (so it's impossible to see on an earth route start). I edited the dialogue file so it now happens regardless of when you get Ryoma since it adds some extra dialoue for the protagonists (they don't actually have that much dialogue in the chapter 2 optional stages, especially with someone outside of the Dreisstrager crew)

It wasn't "bad", but it was too close to the standard Huckebein. If there had been no Huckebein in V and T and it was the first time it was be returning it'd be fine, but it felt like they were basically hoping you acted this was the big nostalgic return.

Anyway, the "fix" it needed would be to be as unique from the original Huckebein as your usual AU Gundam is from the original Gundam. It really needed some big new feature or focus to stand out, not just a backpack.

It's a perfectly serviceable Huckebein that wasn't as big and flashy as people were hoping for an anniversary upgrade; to be honest, it could've just been the base form. It is too bland for a 30th anniversary machine, it's basically just the normal Huckebein but now it has a graviton rifle the the MK-III had since at least OG2 back in 2005. Fixing it, take away the BHC and just summon it like Ing and specifically Ring do since that shows off the mastery of Black Hole Engine. And bouncing off of that, give it some of the secret weapons via summoning, give it the boost hammer and g-impact stake, have it do a triple remote slash with the slasher and neo chakram caster, use the shishioh blade.
