The original FAZZ very much is a remold. They didn't give a fuck about the arm movement or it looking super fat and being really heavy propotionally on the old MG. The new one they explicitly designed it to look better with the FA on, which for my money they succeeded in.
Personally, I think the basic ZZ has always had far too fat of arms in all iterations and they should just downsize the internal thruster bell for a slimmer design a little closer to the EZZ lineart. It might be a bit too thin to perfectly emulate but they have some room to squeeze it down a bit. Maybe they've done that here, it'll be interesting to see. From the 3D render and the MG ZZs already released I'll be happy whatever they do. Gonna have to figure out what to do with its big gun though, I want my FA ZZ in anime loadout.

RG Akatsuki's build experience is smooth, however, it is a pain to handle because the plating keep getting your fingerprint on it and the kit as whole feels weak and floppy. The frame requires painting and joing padding, but at the same time, you are not supposed to paint the armor parts. Abit disappointing, but not the worst thing ever.
