First debuting in GBO2 Steam, the console version now welcomes Alternative Series to console GBO2, starting with Gundam Wing to continue its 30th Anniversary.

On Christmas, After Colony 196, to hold off the Barton Foundation and rescue Relena Darlian, Heero Yuy once again goes to retrieve his suit that guides his fate with the ZERO System, Wing Gundam Zero [EW] is here for their final fight.

The next suit from the same Alternative Series is Preventer Wind, aka, the 'dead"
Zechs Merquise MS, Tallgeese III is coming next week. Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz as well as other Alternative Series that debut to Steam, are to come soon on both platforms.

How can I send some new ideas to namco or whoever is responsible for this game?

1) Super Heavy Attack Amplifier.
Reduces the charge time of heavy attacks by 50%.
Amplify the range of heavy attacks by 50%.
Increase the damage of heavy attacks by 50%.
At the same time it should add a -20 penalty for the melee damage, so your regular attacks ouside the heavy attacks are penalyzed by minus 20%.

I think properly balancing low-cost units and bringing old units up to par with new units would do far more to revitalize this game. Fuck no. The Grandpa Gundam buff is retardedly broken and makes it firmly meta at every cost it's in. Its performance is several costs higher than 400. The only reason it's tolerated is because the meta is so fucked right now that rather than nerfing the outliers they'd rather bring other suits up to those insane outliers. I'd rather not have every cost face eternal powercreep with buffs like that. It ruins the entire point of costs to begin with.
It's not like it'd even be feasible for them to make every suit at these lower costs as viable as the top-tiers as the top tiers are inherently cost-breaking in ways that couldn't be replicated without fundamentally reworking most suits released at lower cost.
I'd much rather they buff and nerf toward a baseline rather than make it so that in a year or two you'll be seeing flap booster bullshit at 300 cost.

Well, that's what I was saying. Keep suits broken for a few months so the whales whale, then bring them down to par with the rest of the cost. Suits at-cost that are already weak can then be brought up to the newly-established baseline rather than trying to make them as broken as the banner suits.
Even without newly-introduced broken suits, lower cost ranges are still bloated with suits so bad that nobody would ever really use them. Suits like the Gyan or Gouf Custom are basically throw/troll picks and have been so for years. Even post-buff there are several suits that are just meh to shit even without taking into account broken new suits. The GM White Dingo is still basically garbage except now it has a memebeam that can nuke raids every 30 seconds or so. It's not fun to fight or play as that thing even with the buff and the memebeam design is probably some of the worst this game has to offer.
The Gelgoog is now forever relegated to ranged nade spam which makes it essentially a worse Act Zaku. It's bulky with no MA nor leg buffers and doesn't have the relatively small profile and speed of the Act Zaku to even compare.
Even post-buff many suits remain unplayable to meh because BB doesn't know what every suit should have at each given cost. It's not just a problem with broken new suits, it's mostly a systemic problem relating to BB's inability to understand their own game.

Beam and melee armor is pretty much the best choice it needs.
Go for beam res hangar enhancement as well, ideally max level.
You don't really need to worry about your legs at 700 since you might as well be dead before your legs are dead. Put leg armor if you really need to.
You should go all in on melee damage after that since thrust is nothing to worry about.
