Dashfags basically just cherry-pick a handful of episodes where Dash isn't completely insufferable, pretend like that is the default, and disregard every other episode where she's a bitch as being ooc cause of shitty writers. Ask any Dashfag what their favorite Dash episode is, and it'll almost certainly be one of these five --

If they can't come up with excuses for her behavior, they just say the episode is shit, see just about any other Dash episode.
And I understand that all waifufags do this to some extant, as it's simply human nature to be more lenient to individuals we like, but other waifufags don't have to do it nearly as much. Other waifufags only have to ignore maybe a handful of episodes here and there, or only ignore episodes from past a certain point in the show. But with Dash, you have to ignore just about everything. Early seasons, late seasons, mid seasons, comics, books, she act's like a shit in all of them.
I just think if you're ignoring 60% of the content around a character in order to make them not shitty in your mind, that should be a pretty big indicator that they were never a very good character in the first place. RD is only likable in fanfics and greens because the majority of people always write her super ooc where she's way more empathetic, caring, sensitive, and loyal than she ever is in the show. Even Dash's biggest shows of empathy aren't even half as big as what most writers depict her with.
