The movie, from an objective point, just wasn't that good. It pretty much exist to almost flat out invalidate the one right before it and in a lot of ways kinda just existed to misuse several of the old cast while introducing another new gay OC to a love triangle that was already given a cop out the very last movie.

It's like School Daze and now that I realize that I think I understand why I dislike breaburn and the new gays all the more. In a vaccum maybe they wouldn't be so bad but they are all part of one big narrative that wants to have drama when it won't actually commit to even 1 of the issues and will sweep any simple ones under the rug or create new issues simply for the sake of them existing and the cast that already exist keeps ending up in a big loop due to it. The movie really didn't even need to use Tempest since, as once predicted, got the Wall flower treatment of showing up just to have her show up and not contribute. It sufferers from teh same core issue of the last movie and more importantly Breaburn's whole story: Nothing ever feels earned of satisfying with him. This was somewhat always the case but it was so much less egregious before

I think one of the main themes of the RariTwixie love triangle is Rarity finally accepting that she's a lesbian.
I can see there being a joke with Rarity and Twilight having had sex and Rarity coping and saying it doesn't count as being gay, as it was just "experimenting", and Twilight saying it doesn't count as cheating cus Rarity is "straight".
It could also lead to scenarios where both Celestia and Applejack come to terms with their own sexuality as well since Celestia and Applejack both have a link to Rarity and Twilight.
Tamers sets up a lot of plot points beforehand even way early on so I can see him having planned this for a while.
I think the idea of this love triangle as it can really shake up a lot of the stuff in this story as Twilight and Rarity have a link to a lot of relevant ponies involved. It could end up being Tamer's magnum opus when it comes to love triangle dynamics when it comes to both humor, drama, and deeper messages.

This is a good interpretation but I don't think its that indirect. Rarity and Twilight's relationship have been setup early in Tamers MLP with them organically growing from a one sided friendship where Twilight borderline hated Rarity, to an actual friendship, to becoming best friends.
But I can see where you might be coming from, maybe they need a little more build up together before they try anything seriously romantic with each other.

I don't know about the plot stuff but one of the reasons why I would like to see Rarilight in this show is that Rarity and Twilight's developing relationship is one of my favorite things in this storyline. They have one of the most best written friendships in Tamers I've watched in fiction.

I know that we are having a rough time right now. The last video was not great. However, the amount of demoralization in this thread is reprehensible. I want to remind everyone here who is kind enough to support and donate to Tamers that this was just one video. I also want to remind everyone that conspiracy theories are just that: Theories.

No matter how much you think you are "connecting dots" based on the unsubstantiated claims of people who pretend to be for against Tamers, you are instead succumbing to fear and doubt. I can see why Flawless is Trixie and Twilight's child as she has traits from both of them both in personality and appearance.
But Arinos only has personality traits from Apple Bottom/Split I see nothing of Soarin in him.

Arinos is deeply internally troubled but either is always putting up a front of being a clown, or is the literal embodiment of that persona on some level and cannot stop doing the clown performance (barring times where Friendship gave him a persona on-top of that, such as the Braeburn doll persona during operation lost cause).

Actually here's the time where he just outright says it, and you can easily see how this works with Arinos' big stage performer act, putting the other ponies into the imaginary audience, and the fact he's also wracked with issues (Arinos also outright says in infection that it's Soarin's "dark and mysterious half who is always filled with that feeling of existential dread" despite outwardly seeming very cheerful (poor Arinos!!!!))

If we wanted to start theorising, Arinos' emphasis on their bright, colourful outfit could be representative of the fact that like Soarin's wonderbolt uniform it's the costume that is noticed before the pony wearing it.
Though I think there's also something to say for how Arinos might represent Soarin's desire to reconcile his life as a wonderbolt and as a gay ass man who fucks gay cowboys. Maybe Arinos doesn't only represent Soarin's protective wonderbolt persona but also Soarin's desire to reconnect with it in a healthy way, or for Soarin to have healthy control over his (also pretty hazbin looking) manic rampage alicorn form which is something he was repressing right until it was coaxed out of him by Friendship (yet another aspect of Soarin's psyche).

Then again idk maybe Tamers just likes funny farts and im just a lore fag (i am).
