So from these sketches Anon is a homunculus made by Chrysalis and Sombra. Then by whatever chance, be it planned or not, he ends up getting adopted by Princess Celestia and becoming her 'unoffical' Son.

Anon was the product of an attempt to make a homunculus using magic, dark magic, pony parts/blood and soul energy. normally a homunculus just has a facsimile of a soul made from the soul energy of their creator, making them a step above golems but still under real people. In Anon's case his creator's went a step beyond, trying to draw soul energy/a full soul from 'beyond' to further empower their creation, it went wrong/awry and ended up with anon's soul being implanted into the homunculus in some form either his full soul or just a copy/energy of it.

Celestia and Luna were tyrants, Discord was a scholar, and Sombra was basically a chad, Celestia and Good Sombra fell in love, but are literally a world apart
if I remember correctly that comic ended with the alternate world being pseudo-assimilated to be more like the mainline universe, tyrant Celestia and Luna got turned good, but as a cosmic consequence to balance the scales, Chad Sombra got turned into his usual smoke monster self
not sure how you'd make it work in a story and to be honest take what I've said with a grain of salt cause like I said it's been a while since I read the comic so I might have missed some finer details or just been fucking wrong entirely

Celestia's first visit to that world was way back when with Star Swirl, so by that logic, Anon would have been born way back. Before Luna's return or the main events of the show.

However, that whole comic would have one hell of a new subplot when Celestia confesses to 'Other Sombra' about their child. Anon gets about... a day or two to get to know his father before the other world has to be sealed off permanently to stop it from spreading.

You could go a step further and use it to explain Anon's unusual coloring and question cutiemark. As there is no 'alternative' Anon in the other world due to the very fact that Celestia was never supposed to cross over and get knocked up.

Bluntly, Anon shouldn't exist. A part of his character could be him trying to figure out what exactly he is the Prince of. There is a lot you could do story wise for this. It could be the reason he's so opposed to being a prince.

I did have this one idea about Anon being a janitor at the castle.

It all starts after an airship crash. Anon is the sole survivor. He's pulled out of the wreckage barely conscious and wakes up in a hospital some time later, feeling a little bit off.
While he was out, the ponies figured out he was not on the passenger list, nor are there any records of a pony with his name or identifying features anywhere.
He walks and talks like a pony, can't remember ever being anything but a pony, yet still can't help feeling a little off. That, and he keeps swiping at things with his hooves and knocking them off, somehow expecting the item to stick but of course it doesn't.
So he's a weirdo and a bit creepy, but really not a bad pony. The knocking things off is written off as minor brain damage. Nopony ever figures out how he came to be on the airship. All that put together is enough that he can't get a job, no matter how hard he tries.
Until the princesses themselves step in. He ends up hired as a janitor in the castle, very much as a diversity hire due to his brain damage diagnosis. There, he feels a bit useless since the other ponies are much better at what they do but he manages.

And I dunno where to take it from there so I never did anything with it.

I suggest plotting down what sort of things you want to happen during the story up to the finale/ending of said idea. Since it'll likely the ending of said idea/story will be that he recovers and finds out what truly happened (or not) perhaps he sneaked onto the airship. Could have it during each plot point/scenario when Anon is doing his job perhaps discovering a changeling that is infiltrating the castle and him trying to tell other ponies about it but since the crash and the presumably that he could be making stuff up with his amnesia it gets more tense as the infitration becomes more successful until a sudden point where he finally exposes it and the ponies get surprised and get more curious about him. Could also have points of slow memory recovery where he slowly pieces the things together. Also maybe have a part where he tries to upgrade his job to a Royal Guard. Lots of potential, really.

I mostly agree with this, but I want to say relations wouldn't necessarily be worse, just different. Celestia was well meaning but didn't always seem to get non-ponies? I feel like Anoncorn's blunt behavior and originally non-pony mind would ironically make the more aggressive races like the Griffins or Yaks easier to handle because he could understand them better.

I'd want to say literal centuries have chilled him down a lot. He can still be the cuss filled asshole he can be, but mostly reserves that for people he knows can handle that kind of talk, like the Griffins or the older Dragons.
With the regular ponies, ge generally tries to emulate Celestia, or at least a more paternal form of it, because they respond to that way better than anything else he's tried.
Probably way less patient with species like the Deer or the Kirin, in the sense their in his borders so they can be tax paying citizens or get out. I could see the Kirin be ok with this for the most part, and probably have the Deer traditionally afraid of him because they pushed Anon once generations ago and he made good on his promise of violence.
Maybe rather than keeping him fully statued up, he bounds Discord's consciousness in a sorta familiar/wisp form to have someone to talk to and bounce ideas off of since Cadance would be around for a long time and having an eternity to yourself can be lonely.
He's both better and worse for his students than Celestia was. He's not the ever loving maternal figure and can be blunt in assessment, but he's been able to call out and curb their worst flaws without alienating them about it. Like having Sunset understand that being an Alicorn isn't all it's cracked up to be, and teaching Twilight to take deep breaths and calm down when she's about to go in an OCD freakout.
He aggressively hits on Chrysalis whenever she pops up, and ironically she can't handle it well at all. After all her thing is sucking up love not lust, and she's not even sure what he means by big pussy since she lays eggs.

The black matches his mane and stands out on his coat, the same for white but it contrasts his mane and tail nicer imo, and the orangey colours of bronze stuff compliments green well and contrasts with black. Ill have to experiment and see.

Hello everyone! It's my first time posting in this thread and I'm coming with questions for a green that is starting to form inside my head.
This would be a continuation based on an idea at the very end of Duties of the King https://ponepaste.org/10501
Which was posted in Fingerbang.
Please allow me to sum up the most salient points.
1. Anon is dating, with intent to marry, the entire HuMane seven.
2. Due to wacky adventures and fights with supervillains, Anon retreats to Equestria for a week with his harem and confirms that he is an Alicorn while there.
3. Anon is worried that Celestia might not let him go as Alicorns are so very valuable to Equestria. So he proposes a plan where he will encourage his kids to explore over there and let them know they are welcome to settle there with their Alicorn genes, even if not an Alicorn themselves. (Celestia has no intention of detaining Anon but is very happy with his proposal.)
4. Timeskip forward 19 years. The second child of each wife was a green boy and all are born in the same calendar year. Now it is time for their freshman year of High School.
5. But Anonymous Jr. ("Junior", the son of Anon and Sunset) isn't going to CHS! No he is being sent to Equestria as an exchange student and Flurry Heart is being sent to Canterlot.
So the story brewing would focus on the adventures of the scrawny Alicorn Junior and his new group of friends that want to be something more. (Probably no sex though. I'm not great with writing it with humans and would be completely lost with horses.)

Has anything like that been done?
And am I correct in thinking this would be the proper thread for it?

I think that Anoncorn doesn't necessarily need to be relatable in the same sense peganon or any of the other "regular" anon stallions are, as long as his character is understandable and you can follow his train of thought.

That said, you could always do the latter Anoncorn idea where's he's just regular son of Celestia and gree up in the relatively modern era alongside Cadance, Sunset, Twilight, etc if you want a more relatable Anon. That was also a potential prompt for Anoncorn and just wasn't looked at nearly as much as the millennium old Anoncorn.

for the ponies, it's a twofold show of him being different to Celestia and Luna, firstly, being Princesses, despite it still elevating them above other ponies, made them seem more grounded and humble, Anon being a King puts him above even that, secondly, it tells that he plans to rule with a firmer hoof, which is true, but he's as fair as the princesses ever were
then there's Chrysalis, she's a Queen, one of the only, and Anon would be the only King, before she meets him and is put off by his flirtations, she sees him as a potential rival before they even meet, two iron-hoofed rulers of their subjects, she sees their meeting as a destined clash between idealogoies, between titans and rulers, her fantasy of an epic bout are ended when he first nicnames her and implies having children at the wedding

I feel like even after a thousand years, Anonicorn wouldn't change that much, he'd find his rhythm and sort of stick to it, and you could easily write a relatable Anonicorn and just handwave that he's been that way for a thousand years, it's not like it'd require a further suspension of disbelief than is required for an Anon that's become a pony
like I've seen in this thread, just make a Prince/King that's a slightly sterner ruler than Celestia, his fairness more coming from seeing ponies as stupid kids that frustrate him but he ultimately loves, rather than the warm care that Celestia feels, make him more hooves off with teaching because he'd have that human belief in learning by independence instead of holding Twilight's hoof through everything, and if you want him to still be human, have him be a little less patient than Celestia, not outright impatient but just willing to put up with less bullshit, also, you could make him actively go against what Celestia planned when Twilight comes around, so he goes to the Crystal Empire to help her deal with Sombra, he locks away Starswirl's book that let her ascend or outright burns it, he also burns Starswirl's time spell immediately, he deals with Tirek as soon as he hears that Cerberus left Tartarus, he keeps an eye on Glimglam's village from a distance and puts royal hoofboot to ass when she tries to spread it into Equestria proper
as for the centuty or millenia, that can add drama either way, if he's been ruling for a millenia, it adds to his mystique, especially if he's more isolated that Celestia, which I think an Anon would be, he's been around long enough that ponies know him, and done enough for them for them to love them, but there would be stories about sisters who ruled before him who disappeared, maybe ponies wouldn't even remember their names, since ponies in Season 1 didn't seem to remember Nightmare Moon/Luna anymore
if he'd only been around for a century, then there'd be a lot more drama about ponies being suspicious of him, he'd be around long enough that, for some ponies, he's the ruler of Equestria, but ponies like Granny Smith would be old enough to remember Celestia, but not know where she went when Anon appeared, there'd be conspiracies, possibly groups who actively try to undermine and oppose his rule, thinking him a usurper

Centuries plural is probably a better compromise. It's enough time for the general populace to be used to his relative eccentricities and style of rule over Celestia's, far enough away from the main canon for him to be able to see the seeds of the families he has foreknowledge of grow and steer subtly enough in the right directions, and enough to be able to be a thorn in Chrysalis' side for her to dread him and his unwanted flirting.

This makes him easier to hate for Luna in particular. Equestria forgot about her over a millennium but Celestia ruled for 800 years only for ponies to forget her too, all because of this green usurper.
Him appearing late can cause a whole bunch of shit to kick off, without Celestia's talent at diplomacy Anon has to be sterner/fiercer as a leader to keep Equestria's enemies away and hold the kingdom together.
Without sunbutt theres a power vacuum, so he's viewed by enemies/neighbours as a weak replacement, a usurper and easier prey so he meets creatures like chrysalis earlier, becoming more aloof/isolated for his style of rule, old suspicion and needing to deal with more aggressive enemies jumping at the chance to go after a less stable equestrian.

I'd say he does care, they looked to him to lead when Celestia vanished so he took over and took responsibility for ponies so they wouldn't suffer because of him not leading/being a bad leader but because of the other shit hes way more aloof/stoic as ruler. He does collect cadence, sunset, etc. trying to emulate Celestia and keep the timeline consistent but he warms up from their influence.

I'd assume he'd want to smooth out some things, like try to keep ponies like Sunset and Starlight Glimmer from crashing out, and keep an eye out in case long term stuff Opal to prevent G% from ever happening, but would mostly let things play out because things work out for the most part, and he'd probably be way too busy as is trying to run a kingdom properly.
I'd imagine he'd welcome more Alicorns to split up the workload. Train up Cadance to rule with him, try to get Luna to chill and at least work with him, let Twilight's journey play out but actually have her join in running the kingdom when she ascends and not just dumping it in her to go on vacation. Do that one idea of lessening Discord's punishment into getting to basically be his Navi to bounce ideas off of a f get genuinely good advice from a different perspective, etc etc.

Also the colors definitely look good, but I'm also definitely of the opinion the regalia should be less like Celestia's and more masculine like Sombra's, if less evil looking.

I wonder how he’d handle Tirek. Would he go after him the moment he gets loose from Tartarus? Would he still sic Discord on him? Would Discord even betray the ponies in this timeline? He would have had centuries to learn the value of friendship during his time as Anon’s advisor instead of just a couple months/years.

Lots of places you can go with this. The idea of Anon having built some kind of combat mech straight out of Titanfall or Armored Core centuries ago so he could still fight even after getting his magic nullified popped into my head while writing this.
