Game jam: One Button
Hello and welcome once again to the gamejam! I normally only do these at the online cons, but some people showed interest in doing them every 4 months, so consider this our trial run!
For those of you not in the know, here's how it works:
1. Wait for the Jam to start (Check your exact date at: (https://itch.io/jam/mlp-off-con-game-jam-one-button)).
2. Once the clock starts ticking you start working on your game
3. Submit it before you reach the deadline for it to get showcased on stream! (either on itch or emailing me the game)
Now here's the thing, it's going to be a little different this time round since there'll be no con to show these off. My plan is to do a stream via cytube for the showcase, possibly on October 19 on sunday, 6 EST. Check the anchor for updates in schedule or anything related to the Jam
After that wall of text, let me present to you the theme for the Jam: One button!
Read that again, that's one (1) button. The games of this Jam have to be either playable using a single button (be it a keyboard key, right click of a mouse or however else you interpret it) or be centered around the press of a button.I keep saying that word, it's losing all meaning
The main thing I want out of this is short, finished games. I myself struggle with the scope of my projects, it's a skill that needs to be practiced, so let's practice it!
Any of this is subject to change, check the anchor for updates. This is a community thing, so if any of you have opinions or disagree on anything, please let me know
