-but american suvs don't work in europe for size reasons
-outside of europe and north america, very few people can afford them
-ergo, you will only see them in significant numbers in the us/canada

i think i explained exactly what niche the american suvs fill. 6/7 passengers + their cargo. nothing else can do this, except minivans or vans, which nobody wants to be seen in.
i never said they're as luxurious as a bentayga or cullininan, or as sporty as a cayenne or urus, or as offroad capable as a land cruiser.
i said they're giant people carriers and that they outclass everyone else is this regard.
