>t. work with billionaires regularly and personally
You're so goddamn isolated once you become one.
Every single person around you knows in their bones
>to you, a million dollars would mean very little, but to me, it'd be generational wealth
>if I sucker on to you like a starfish or bite down like a piranha, maybe I'll get my cut
So everyone is incredibly fake and desperate around them and you can't trust anyone because they're all trying to run some con or scheme on you because all they see are the dollars.
You can't live a super public life because crazy people want to kill you, predators wanna kidnap you or family members for ransom or mugging scams, you can't go to the grocery store because people start crowding like retards if they recognize you, you can't join a public club or hobby group because the moment YOU start showing up, it becomes the "bill gates board game club" or whatever the fuck and suddenly all the psychos and crazies start showing up. You can't date anyone because day one you try, people are going to be posting your pics to reddit, and although women will show up, they're looking for a loot pinata and to write a social media post like "my story with X" where they slander the shit out of you for internet clout.
So there's basically no way to participate in society or meet other people who aren't also in the same economic strata, and that sucks too because they're all fucking weirdos because none of you have talked to a regular person in years because regular people cannot handle themselves around big money.
There's a reason they all move to gated communities, and it's because "even if it's lonesome and terrible, being behind a wall with all the other rich people who aren't gonna sperg out the moment they see you" is about as close as you can get to having something resembling "community" in your life.
