Last time i was following one of the local group's gpx tracks i found one closed road in the woods and two other small roads that where recently turned resident only/one way (and i was on the wrong way)

It was the exact opposite for me, getting a job with a Japanese company and going there a bunch of times gave me yellow fever. Sent the speedometer off to Georgia and have a temporary one coming in from Canuckistan in KPH, whatever the fuck a kilometer is. It has MPH in the middle though. It almost makes me want to get into gauge remanufacturing. Unfortunately neither one will reach their destination until the 16th or 17th. Getting bike parts to move across the country is my personal hell, especially when they're hard to find.

I did attempt a sight glass replacement, but it's basically not worth it unless you have a shop press.

For my big hurrah big bike I'm debating between a busa or a duc supersport 950. The Ducati is 50% more to insure and a ball ache to maintain but I believe a 120hp twin is probably perfect for twisty road riding. The weight saving compared to the bus is nice too.
But then the busa.... Crazy fast bike with street cred. I live near the autobahn and I feel like maxxing out a busa is a bucket list item.
