Getting that splitter and banjo bolt in place is a motherfucker because Luigi cut one of the hoses just a tiny bit shorter than the other one because the heads are slightly offset.
Could've just stuck two longer hoses in there instead of a long and short one, wrestling the shorter one into the head is a bitch of a job.

HYB, what model? I had levers from Crossthread Cycle on my softail, they were short enough that it felt OK to 2-finger it and I have pretty small hands to begin with. Stunt guys seem to favor the 1FNGR clutch but the ones I've seen require you to replace the whole clutch perch and run like 2x as much as a result.

Using your whole hand on the clutch is good, actually, you have more control of the clutch lever and you don’t have anything to do with your hand besides, unlike the right hand which might be operating throttle and break at the same time to rev match downshift

Thumper owner. There is no public land in my state and people will actually try and put buckshot in your ass if you go past a purple gate, county road or not. It's simply not worth trying to find cool trails up any of the canyons or hills here because it's inevitably a 10,000 acre ranch and touching someone's dirt road to see where it goes isn't worth having a gun pointed at you.

So it's eithera 3 hour ride to a 3-4 acre OHV parks, or pull up my state's ArcGIS, filter by road type, and look for cool views that I can reach by twisty dirt roads and hope the rancher hasn't put an illegal gate up. Unfortunately for me and my 1st world problems, as more and more gas wells and subdivisions go up around me, all the roads are being paved.

Its a cable operated clutch and I couldn't find any manufacturer marks on it so I feel like its Harley only.

>>28531065
2022 Low rider. I like the bike but there are a few things I have to change for sure. Clutch lever and blinker controls if possible. The risers also angled the handlebar top mounted gauge cluster towards my beltline so I can only read the rpm, I'm going to modify my current risers or get some without the pullback. Cruise control is super nice though, first bike with it.

>>28531075
Literally nobody on earth will convince me that being able to operate your levers with 2 fingers isn't better than 4. The only time I have ever used more that 2 fingers is on the clutch when I'm stuck in stop and go traffic and my fingers got tired. I'm sure I could get used to it, but I currently have way more control with 2 fingers.

Cant you just loosen up the bars or the gauges, rotate them, and tighten them back up? I've never seen any conversions for the turn signal indicators unfortunately, they're a little annoying but you could just fully embrace Harley life and never use your blinker. There's another mechanism attached to your right handlebar that functions as a horn, turn signal, and throttle all at once.

it's even worse in some areas of the country where some rancher buys the land surrounding BLM land and forbid access.

BLM's days are numbered. The few conservatives out west who understand it's importance find no common ground with the rest of conservatives who hate any publicly owned land and liberals back east who simply don't care. It's going to end up back in the states hands, and places like Idaho, Montana, and Nevada will sell it off to China or the Saudis in order to have a one time tax break on property taxes during a tough election year.
Anonymous No.28531119
>>28531105
That would make too much sense, Harley mounted the gauge on top of the clamp for the handle bars and the aftermarket manufactures didn't adjust the angle of the bar mount for their risers because they could make more selling gauge cluster adaptors for several hundred dollars. I'm either going to model and 3d print a gauge mount or just buy cheap risers with no pullback that keep the stock angle.

ofc a soviet flathead is insanely sturdy and stupid easy to fix but it's basically deisgned to be as such. A much worse example of a western V2 is the CX500.

Flat head Urals and K's are quite okay, the OHV ones are a bit here and there yeah.
The gucci is "okay" I guess, it is fairly archaic in design compared to other western bikes sure, but there are some little nigglets here and there that piss me the fuck off.
Like for example the old cable driven speedos have a brass bushing in the transmission side held by a screw that also holds the cable in the transmission, kinda like in an Ural.
The difference here is that the brass bushing is held by the screw. If you don't grab the bushing with pliers or something before unscrewing, you'll drop it inside the transmission and that's a tranny out and open surgery day.
Meanwhile in an Ural they added a stepped edge bellow the steel bushing, retards like me and room temp iq vatniks can't drop it into the transmission.
Or the magneto armature that needs a "special tool" to remove so you can replace the timing cover front oil seal.
In an Ural they have no seal, just put a ton of RTV around the whole timing cover and maybe it won't leak, problem solved.

A small minority of girls are really into bikes. Then a larger chunk of them might think they're cool and thats about it. You can find some by just having you on the bike as a tinder pic. But otherwise cars and bikes dont have much of an effect on women. Unless the vehicle you are in conveys wealth then it doesnt mater. You have a 100k nsx doesnt look as good to women as just a 50k Mercedes. But even then the difference is negligible.

But then again neither is a twin in a ss fram. A scooter would be better. Really all these 600 and liters are pretty easy to ride, at a low level

Trying to build something i can carve around trees in my forest but still be stable on Comp Hill at Glamis.

Also found out I can still register it as a CBX if it passes inspection. Basically the same concept as those old school builds where they grafted a VW engine and transaxle onto a Harley frame. I think the CP3 would personally be overkill for commuting in my case. If I wanted something that would be cheap to run, it'd be the CP2 engine that doesnt murder tires. I do about 80 miles a day, with the majority of it being highway straights. I would pick the R7 over the other bikes the CP2 is on just because its the skinniest for easier lane splitting. I wont deny that if I wanted a more entertaining bike, I'd go with the MT09, but I'd rather say my MT09's mileage came from twisties and not just having it on cruise control on the highway as I headed to work.

That's fine, I dont have a problem with people that feel this way and I'm glad they can buy what they like. What is bullshit is taking something I think is cool, even if it's impractical, and outlawing it because of efficiency or some bullshit. If the bike doesn't sell then whatever, "the customer is always right" after all. If some bureaucrat cuck waves his wand to make cool bikes disappear while flooding the continent with brown people, then I huff gas and yell about it on moldovan sneaker smuggling forums.

X for doubt. Even with more displacement if they can stump the gsxr750, it'll be a real shame. I don't expect R9 to do better because its a street bike. R9 is heavier, lower power, but has better torque.

This is honestly a no go if you want updated, open source offline maps. You're going to pay through the nose for Garmin topos, for example, and they're street coverage isn't the best anyway.

I know that OSMand works in offline mode, with wifi or mobile data turned off, if you are paranoid about heat mapping. I would also check the Scandi map apps too. Any app with servers in the EU is going to have better data user protection baked in than US apps, in my experience.

Leave your phone at home, pull over on the side of the road, and take out a paper map, they’re still available. Memorize the next few steps of directions. Pay attention to the road.
There is no technology that gives you directions that can’t be used to retroactively track you with ping information. If you don’t care about being tracked, there’s no reason not to use internet connected devices. You can’t half ass trying to avoid technology.
