if you have any decent bank they have 0 liability fraud protection and will instantly put your money back. this applies to debit cards too. it's such a dumb boomer thing to be scared of getting skimmed or getting a card stolen. It happened to me once and I got the money back in 24 hours. they even fronted me cash instantly so I could buy stuff that day and pay bills if i needed too.
