The vast majority of newer sedans and cuckovers are 3200-3600 pounds and powered by 1.3-1.6t with 150 to 200hp or equivalent larger non turbo i4s.
For a base model
>sports
car 13:1 power ratio exceeds standard cars handily. It's also the same ratio a base model charger/challenger has.

Doesnt matter anyways because the new charger is i6tt, 420hp, with a big fat dick 2000-5000rpm torque curve. It'll be much faster than a FBO tuned 5.7 ever could.

>smaller engine
Inline-6 engines are usually huge. They're the longest engine available in most applications, though in recent history they've gotten a lot smaller. Not sure how this one tips the scales

Stellantis claims the i6 only weights 445lbs but that's horseshit. No way the car is over 4,300lbs without the engine. I genuinely don't see how that's possible. It's huge but not THAT huge.

The ev battery weighs nearly 1400 pounds supposedly. It's often said EV drive systems weigh less than a comparable ICE.
The 880re is also just another zf8 so if we call the motor+trans 650 pounds and do some math...

5770 - 1355 = 4415
4415 + 650, - 4815 = 250
4415 - 250 = no battery, no ev, no i6, no gearbox (but with awd components) bare platform weight is 4165 pounds.

Side by side view of the two, but the wide angle doesn’t give you a good impression of just how much larger the Sad Cat is.

I personally like the design and size - the rear seats are first class. They were best in class in the Chally for a two door and now are even better. Of course it will be heavy being wider and longer than the majority of the SUVs.
