I too would be grateful if somebody told hints about how to interpret those patterns. Or maybe I should just stick with diagrams for now and folding straight from the patterns comes with time if I ever get to that level, a bit depressing but fortunaly there are tons of diagrams around.

i like to draw playing cards folded in weird ways. but i just have to make up how it would look in my head, and guess. is there any origami that would be possible with a playing card? so that i could use it as an actual reference? that would be cool.

I don't recognize those, I suspect they're just meant to look like origami without being based on real designs.

First off, die cutting is a mechanical stamping process that uses a die, Cricut and and equvalent pro grade cutting machines are known as knife plotters (but can draw with a pen too).

One of the main places you will find them is sign shops.

What a coincidence. I am currently in the process of ripping the models from the game. Almost figured it all out.
If you don't want to wait, you could use the debug mode and use Avocado emulator to rip the model scenes yourself.

It depends on the paper, but resin can work fine too.
I know of people using colorless nail varnish/polish.
Anyway, best bet is to use a little piece of the paper you intend to use, fold a simple model (traditional crane, for example), and cover it with the stuff of your choice and see if it crumble...

However there are various types of paints that I use for luthier work that also are viable.
You could unironically do a paint spray.
However it would have to be extremely thin and from a distance.

What are cereal boxes made of? I know they're comprised of grayboard/chipboard but what do they print on? Is that white part part of the chipboard? Why does nobody sell this?

Ok, even without the coating what should I look for just the cardboard? I print on glossy paper and glue to card stock already and it looks nice enough. Searching is a pain, results I specifically don't want always end up what I get when I search for these things.

I made this little puzzle box called a soma cube for my girlfriend for Christmas. I was going to make a little wooden box to put it in, wood burn something on it, and then wrap the box up for Christmas with a few other things I have since returned since, well, she broke up with me. I haven't made the wooden box yet, and I'm kind of lost on whether I should finish it up for the sake of completion or if I should just make a paper box and wrap it up just to sit on a shelf, maybe for someone else or the next girlfriend, or just to sit as a trinket.

Please post images that print well for use as origami paper! I routinely "chop up" a page to easily get 12 to 20+ squares out of a single print.
Multi-pattern images are really cool... allowing for several squares each with individual patterns.
Any good pattern that'll work for several squares with the same/similar patterns.
Black & White can be really cool when printed onto color papers.

Are there any good weapon paper model makers that would either have a plan already made, links to some, or any help to making one?

I've been trying to find one for Quite A While now and have been attemptin to create One by first modeling it out etc. but hit a "bit" of a setback with my computer frying up completely during a thunderstorm.

Looking Now for the classic type of shotgun. Attempting to acquire the level of detail and possible function that are akin to the "Paper Manufacturing" brands level of quality.
