>>508213526 (OP)Shallow take on the actual article.
On the one hand, the surface level, it's a woman lamenting this and that. You could say it's because men have been told to sit down and shut up, gender war backfiring, etc. These are shallow interpretations of this piece.
The article's real purpose is to host a kvetch that smells like it was written by committee and proofread and enhanced by AI. The New York Times is angry that a huge swath of men are now tuning out their paper, the other papers, the TV channels, the entertainments, the musical acts, and the rest of the culture by which the social changes and experiments are implemented. There is no water cooler talk any more. You can get fired for a racism, that's bad so it's better to keep your mouth shut. If you have to talk, the other men are on 4chan, X, Steam, etc. with anime avatars and we're here for ya bro. Not like those cunts and Jews in the media.
That's why they're angry. They're being tuned out. Huffily declaring that culture is this or that? It only works when there is shared culture, water cooler talk, and people can actually give accurate feedback on how the various little social experiments and changes are REALLY being received. Or else these social planners at the think tanks and RAND and Universities don't know how to even rig a fucking poll convincingly let alone get people to start all watching the same show again.
Streamers are an attempt to go where the people are but nobody actually watches them, they're all viewbotted. ALL of them lol. Pewdiepie was the last streamer in reality. The last REAL one. And he says nigger.
