There's supposed to be a global catastrophe in the next 20-30 years that's going to wipe out 90% of life, but WHAT form that mass extinction takes has been largely assumptive based on fringe theories (like suspicious 0bservers). So what's the video/NASA study say? Basically our magnetosphere traps energized oxygen which serves as a buffer between us and cosmic rays. Except, our magnetosphere is about to shit the bed, and it's not going to be a quick change, the process takes about 400 years. During this time, solar winds will be stripping away charged particles (like ozone) and other atmospheric necessities because our magnetosphere simply won't be strong enough to hang onto it. So, consider this series of events:

By maintaining current population levels this means that humans will burn through what little oxygen there is faster than plants and ocean rocks can reproduce it. Not only that, reduced oxygen levels means that for about 20 generations what humans do survive will be retarded from low oxygen levels. This is how the world forgets the knowledge from before the cycle change began.
