>>509554085>>509554052The expulsion ultimately doesn't matter because 82nd Congress hr5678 Texas praviso (go figure) legalized illegal labor.
You will never be hired over a foreign worker for anything.
I worked construction for 15 years and it basically functions like this.
Hire 5 Mexicans.
Have them frame a house.
Don't pay them.
Call ice, ice deports them on tax payer dime.
At most a fine, but rare.
Pocket 5 men's wages, hire 5 more Mexicans for punch out and to frame the next house.
You can be mad all you want but you will never be hired over foreign labor because you can literally hire a indian and ship them in cheaper than your first day.
There is a solution. If you nationally unionized foreign labor and forced companies to pay foreign workers the exact same as domestic, all the sudden domestic workers look massively appealing and you lost all incentive for foreign labor beyond speciality applications.
But tell a republican to unionize foreign labor and they will die making sure the Texas praviso is never closed, they will fight and die to try to kill a mexican and never once ask who hired him? Who profited? And why are they here?
You know they come in on planes right? The last batch you probably heard of was haitans for a metal plant in Ohio Or the tech industry getting tech indians.
