Apparently during between the turn of the 18th century and throughout the 19th century hundreds of thousands of people were locked up in insane asylums in the United States alone, the same in France and onward to the rest of the world. The common supposed mental illness shared by all of them worldwide was the claim that they lived in a golden age under JESUS.

The entire field of modern psychiatry is fundamentally based on punishing people for knowing the truth.

1) No they were not claiming to have lived in a golden age under Jesus.
2) If such an age did occur, EVERYONE would know about it, not just a tiny fraction of the population. That is not something that could be hidden.
3) According to the Bible, after the millennial reign of Christ on Earth, there is a short conflict where Satan is destroyed once and for all and then we are in the eternal state with a New Heaven and a New Earth. But none of that happened, which we know today because we are still in the same old Earth, evil still exists and reigns over the world. Therefore, Christ has not yet returned.

In the Biblical story of Genesis, the "fruit of the knowledge of good and evil" is the fruit from a specific tree in the Garden of Eden. No. There is no condemnation for those that believe on Christ. John 3:18. We are not told to "follow" Christ and live by His example, because that is literally impossible for us to do. Read the Bible. There is a little season where Satan is released to decieve the entire world before that final "war." Some speculate that a season could be somewhere around 250 years. Ine problem is that we do not know what year it is currently. History is largely a lie.

The devil has clearly devised this method to utilize the world (the system of civilization in which we live in the flesh) against those who threaten his rule. As Jesus warns us, our enemies will be those whom we thought were friends and loved ones.
