If i sell one 50 square meter apartment in Lodon with 300k euro and the same apartment in Bucharest for 50k euro, this means that UK has 6x the GDP of Romania.

If your average salary in UK is 10x that of ROmania, and the prices are 10x more expensive on average, GDP is just a number on a paper with no clear significance.

I don't know. I've thought about this myself.
It seems that the most 'Westernised' Slavs i.e. Czech and Slovenes, who were part of the Holy Roman Empire for centuries, are also the most successful.
I don't think the blame can be entirely laid on communism. Yeah, it sucks, but even the German DDR was still the wealthiest Eastern Bloc state; Germans being Germans, they made it work somehow.
I don't think Slavs are low IQ, but there's a certain unruliness to their cultures which hinders development unlike the rule-abiding Western European peoples.

That's just a ludicrous cope. An average plot for a recently built single family house in America is about 0.13 hectares. Even if you quadrupled the prices in picrelated to account for more desirable locations that aren't out in the boonies, the cost of land itself would still be almost negligible.
