This, there is no more cancer than there was in the past. The biggest problem is though, is that people try to find ways to get rid of the cancer which is what actually kills them. 99% of people with cancer can just live with it for a full lifetime without any problems. Tons of examples in animals and people where they cut them open after they die and find tumors. But if you mess with the tumors before that then they spread and grow. Unless they come up with a cure for cancer or you get a type of cancer that is actually actively killing you the best course of action is to just ignore it.
