Although oil the way it has to be done today in America as shale oil fracking it might not be as economical anymore as its more complicated now to get it out.
Coal on the other hand is nearly not as energy dense as oil or gas and its extremely labor intensive compared to those.
The only problem with nuclear is indeed the massive upfront cost which pretty much needs some sort of state intervention because nobody wants to put up billions upfront.
You have to realize is that what some jewish investor thinks about is to get his private island as quickly as possible that he can diddle kids there, like tomorrow.
